Talking about civil disobedience now.

"Bill represents the spirit of 1968... He reinterpreted American history as a list of crimes, which has become pervasive in our schools, our media..."

Ayers: Americans decided to wipe out the American Indians, and did both.

D'Souza: Most of the reduction of Native American population was the result of diseases brought over from Europe, just as 150 years earlier, 1/3 of the European population was wiped out by the Black Plague, which was brought over from Asia.

Ayers: "I'm not proud to be an American."

He's convinced himself. You don't want to lie to yourself. It doesn't end well.

Ayers sets up straw men and knocks them down, just like the other commie.

He can't say anything good about America. Everything America has ever done is evil.

It seems like he has the rich kid's disease of self-loathing.

"We didn't win the Cold War."

Huh?

Ayers is well rehearsed and says the same things over and over each time he speaks. His “lines” are left’s talking points for decades

Wish they’d do some DNA testing that rhetorical blabber could not get him out of!

D'Souza can pursue a line of thought, unlike Meghan.

I haven't seen her much since we cancelled cable some time ago but, in her defense, that's really not what she's paid to do by Fox News. In her current position she's expected to do something more like shining a flashlight from one thing to another in quick succession. I'm pretty sure that as a lawyer she could stay on point for an extended period.

I’m planning on going this week. D’Souza has done some clever marketing, titling the movie, “America,” and releasing it on the Independence Day weekend. The theme is, “What would the world look like today without America?”, in response to the ivory-tower idea that America is the root of all evil.

It is tough. The worst moment for me was when he broke out in a grin when Meghan accused him of lying and stealing while he was on the run. He looked like an obnoxious frat boy.

Go see it and pass the word.

Check your tickets. Make sure they don't divert the funds to the leftys.

I’m planning on going this week.

I read the book last weekend, and I saw the movie today. Promise me you'll read the book, too. I think the book is far more persuasive. In the movie he hits all the (bad) anti-American points together. Then he shows why he thinks they're all wrong bringing out examples I think some of us aren't familiar with. In the book, each chapter stands alone so you get the anti-American point first then the counterpoint in that chapter in much more detail than the movie does.

One thing that has gone under the radar: in 2008, a woman wrote in some publication that she had been repeatedly raped by Ayers and a black man back in the 1960s. She was a hippie girl who was literally taken prisoner by Ayers. She went on to confront him personally and Mr. Charming told her “he had no recollection of the event.” I don’t suppose Meghan Kelly or anybody else has been updated by staff about this event. I tend to have a long memory about stories like this.

For what it's worth, I went to the 11:45am showing this morning at a theater complex in west Houston. I counted 24 people. Of course average age of everyone was at least 60.

SOP for Leftist activists, actually. Recall that there were a number of sexual assaults at various Occupy encampments, and the victims were pressured not to go to the cops, that it would be "handled internally" instead.

Ayers: "I'm not proud to be an American."

The correct response to this jack-ass is:

"I'm not proud you are an American either. In fact, since you hate America so much, you should find a country you can be proud of and move there."

And then there is this .....Breitbart died three weeks later.

Update to this story: Breitbart recently had ‘dinner’ with Bill Ayers and two weeks ago Breitbart announced he had video tapes that will embarrass Obama… Obama and Ayers have a relationship and Ayers has a history of trying to kill people.

“Breitbart had dinner with Ayers and Dorhn three weeks ago at the couple’s Hyde Park residence on Chicago’s South Side, which is near Obama’s home. Breitbart was invited by Daily Caller Editor-in-Chief Tucker Carlson, who won an Internet auction for a dinner party with the couple.” Michael Savage

No. On Fox she’s paid to display her legs and her bosom, wearing as little as she can get away with. Note the glass topped desk — the better to see her knees when her skirt hikes up when she sits down.

Several days after this dinner event, Breitbart hosted The Dennis Miller Show. He laughed and chortled over what a great meal Ayers had provided and what a great cook. To be honest, I was shocked at his lack of outrage of even being in the same room with him much less admiring his knife skills. Then two weeks later he’s dead on the sidewalk. I know his family says he had heart issues but...how weird.

Go see it! I saw it today and it was a great movie! The theater was about 1/2 filled, which was pretty good considering it was a matinee. Also, people were yelling "Liar!" almost every time they would show Obama lying. Great ovation at the end also.
