So do I, except when the kids eat what's on the menu.
I found this video while looking for a different song, but thought you all would like it. The song is about Jesus and the disciples on the Road to Emmaus, and the performers are seminarians in Santiago, Chile:

Thank You T-c. Promise will watch. Listening to Church broadcast. Promise is not a closed door.
Sure!
and my apologies ... till completed by my listening
Beautiful Selection, Masterfully Sang ... :)
Please pardon me ... must make for the exit ... full day ahead. Prayers God will lead the way for us all.
Have a nice day! My rushing-about starts in half an hour!
Nice tune and great voices.
:)
Glad you liked it! They have a lot of songs on Youtube. Maybe I’ll find something I’d like for my choir.
Unnngh, now I have to go to Walmart again.
“Quedate con nosotros “ = Stay with us.. (?)
Yes. It’s when Jesus and the two disciples arrive at Emmaus, “Stay with us, because the evening is approaching.”
Familiar with the Emmaus story, just not with comprehension of the spoken Spanish. That was about the extent (would need to see the words to get any farther.)
The lyrics pretty much go through the Gospel story. I was searching for a different song with the same title when I found that recording. I really like their arrangements.
I’m home after a totally frustrating and almost non-productive morning. I was on the foanthing for almost four hours, trying to get the router set up.
One gal thought she was God’s gift to the computer illiterate (me) and talked loudly and slowly about what I was to do with which cable. Come to find out she knew less than I did. So she transferred me to someone else and I immediately got cut off.
FINALLY, Busdaddy now has wifi, and the next time I go over, I will set up his iPad. That’s GOT to be easier that what I just went through!
I took a couple of hits of nitro and two nebulizer meds and I feel a lot better, but I don’t think I’m out of the woods on that, yet. Since I didn’t sleep well last night, I knew I would have some problems today, but they have all be resolved so I can relapse, now. :o])
I’m relieved at your safe arrival home! How is Mr. Bill doing these days, with his snazzy new fuel pump?
I’m so glad the wifi is working (so you can use it:-). Can he wait on the iPad until the next time you need to do the wash? What’s the status on his possible move?
Sally had a Confirmation class this afternoon, and she said her teacher told her to shut up, he already knew she knew everything. Another educational success! (The teacher is an old friend from Scouts, so it’s okay for him to say that.)
Oh, look - a straight. A low straight, but still ...
Mr. Bill is purring along. I love it more each time I drive it. But I really do need to find a small portable “boom box”/CD player so I can listen to music when I drive. I was so happy that it had a radio, but within two months, it quit working altogether, and I ride listening to the wind and the tires.
I would have the wiring checked out, but it would cost me more than a small stereo would.
I use wifi at Busdaddy’s because my phone is a “wifi hotspot/tether” and I turn the phone on and access the ‘net through the phone. Busdaddy is the one who wants the wifi for his ipad. Once he gets it set up, he will have to go back to Cricket and have them tweak his phone so it, too, is a wifi “hotspot.” He doesn’t think that far ahead when it comes to electronical stuff...
I knew everything for Confirmation a year before I was eligible, but the Bishop wouldn’t allow me to have it done...too young, he said... so I never did it.
I’m sorry I didn’t catch that straight. It beat my pair of 5’s.
Ohyes. The “move.” I believe that was the “fight or flight” response, but that’s not surprising. He still wants to move. The landlord still hasn’t replaced the mini-blinds in the bedroom or the vertical drapes over the sliding glass door, nor has he replaced the frame on the sliding glass door so it can be used as an exit, but that is par for the course. He will probably have to contact the city and let them know the house is not up to fire-code standards.
He needed a place to move and this one was available, but he always had another move in mind. It is still in the offing, but doesn’t seem as urgent as it was right after the break-in, especially since he now has the security system up and running, and a safe for his gun and small electronics.
I’m sure it will happen, but just not yet.
