The Musk Ox who make it across the border are being bused to various cities around the country, where they will be reunited with family members.
Jake and the much missed Ash would tell you that little girls eat lots of good stuffs that they would like as well and are allowed to have.
As for jumping bean discipline, need anything shaken and stirred?
Use her energy for useful stuff if you can, in small five year old sized portions.
Her Mother? What has her mother got to do with this? LOL! This will, in effect, be a BA-KAY-SHUN for The Little Redhead, so we’re going to break the rules of Home.
She watches Netflix streaming on her mother’s phone or IPad, so she knows more about what’s available than I do. I just have to make sure she has it so she isn’t bored. JudyTCornpone has a VERY smart little girl!
Last time I spent the day with her, she was doing one of those “hidden object” games (two years ago?) and she never quit, for eight solid hours, except to eat, until she fell in bed at 2300.
Her gramma is something else again, but don’t get me started about my sister...NOT the one on FR!
You can sing softly to the musk ox, and I can comb...
If anyone would know what she eats, her mother would. Frank eats cereal, eggs, hot dogs, ketchup, tomatoes ...
Maybe you can find some sort of dance instruction video on Youtube that would help to wear her out.

Kathleen just showed up to ask, “Where’s boys?” They went to church with DP. Now she wants to watch Elks.
My poor niece is in a position now to where it is a question of survival. I’m taking the great-niece, because for now, mom can’t afford day-care, and son has to do 24 hours of community service so he can join the Job Corps with a clean record. He can do it in one week, and that is the week that we are discussing.
I feel so bad for my niece...she has such a big heart. I think The Little Redhead is used to eating what’s there, but I want to make sure she is well fed, at least for as long as I have her. Too bad I didn’t know about this last week, as I could have laid in some supplies commensurate with a five-year old girl.
This is one kid you CAN’T wear out! I’m sure she will eat what I fix for her, as she just wants the fuel and doesn’t necessarily worry about taste. But will I have ENOUGH? I have some meat in the freezer, but her mum and I will have to go through it and see what she is used to eating.
Whatever is left after my trip to the car shop on Monday, I will use for mac’n’cheese and hot dogs; I have milk in the freezer and two boxes of cereal, but maybe I can even give her some homemade ice cream! As well as some fruits and vegetables.
She watches YouTube, as well as Netflix, which is why I want to make sure the Nook is functioning. If I can resurrect it, I will, just so she can use it. If it only lasts the week she is here, it will have been worth it!
This is also the week (the 17th to the 20th) that Busdaddy flies to Colorado to visit his son as for his (Busdaddy’s) birthday, so I may be spending a few days house-sitting. Which is OK. More room for The Little Redhead to run, as he has a large back yard. And we can always get a sprinkler for the hose for cool-off time!
Not certain what little girls eat.
Sammidges of one type or another.
Maybe some veggies, chicken, maybe cubed steak stuff.
Dunno.
Dang! In all the foods I considered, a sammidge wasn’t part of it! LOL! I can lay in some PB and some hard-boiled eggs and some lettuce and tuna or chicken salad...and some Kool-Aid...and some...cubed steak is chewable for little mouths!

(You realize, of course, that because of her mom’s current situation, that most of the cost will be borne up front, by me. I can get paid for what I spend, but I have to feed The Little Redhead, first.)
Still, I welcome the opportunity to spend time with this little girl. She is such a bright spirit, and so open and loving. You would fall in love with her for sure!

But I would take care of this little gal no matter what, if that’s what it would take, so thanks for your input. *hug*
