It is not clear whether words were exchanged between the officer and the woman, but both of them end up on the ground, where the officer straddles the woman and repeatedly punches her, according to the video.
The video shows another man running and apparently trying to help the officer restrain the woman.

Did she hit the cop, threatened him, was she armed...? We really don't know...
That being said, he still repeatedly hit her in the head while she was under his control...

Steroid use engenders a hair-trigger temper. All cops should be regularly tested for steroids and fired if they test positive. If they beat the crap out of an unarmed citizen like this video clearly show, they should go to jail.
