Hi, Friends, and Happy Independence Day despite these trying times.
I'm wondering if there's a thread or ping list for things Indycar-related. If not, is there interest? I don't know how to set up a Ping list, though it can't be that difficult, and if there are others who'd like to keep apprised about things Indycar, as well as to cheer along our favourites drivers and teams, I'm willing to spearhead it, with Admins' blessing of course.
We just saw an incredible weekend of racing at Houston's double header and we have another big 500 miler this weekend. It's been a great season so far, so what do you think?

It seems to me there is a live thread on nearly every major Indycar race. Lots of fans here. Wish I could remember who the thread-starters are. I suspect you’ll find out soon enough! :)

Went to my first Indy 500 in 1967 and have only missed a few since.
If we don’t get a critical mass here, head over to Trackforum which is pretty much non-political on the racing side.
If you want an Indy ping list, just post a thread and ask if others would like a ping every week for the race.
Keep a copy of the pinglist somewhere you can retrieve it in the event of a computer crash.

If you click on the older threads at the bottom it will show you some threads for
previous races. Also there is a NASCAR thread each week where you can find a few
interested participants.
