Did you watch the World Cup at a bar on Tuesday? Did you tip your waitress afterward?
Hall of Famer Warren Sapp did one of those things but not the other after watching the United States play Belgium at a bar in Florida. Sapp racked up a $69.39 bill during the match and left a zero dollar tip.
Sapp took a lot of heat for the no-tip after a picture of the bill made its way onto Twitter.
Oh yeah, when I use to drive a cab, right away as soon as they go in they would go into the rants “This seat is filthy, the AC don’t work, it smells in here, you are taking the long route, you are going too fast, blah blah blah” then they would give me $7 bucks for a $11 buck fare and pull the race sh*t if I complained. They get that ALL from liberals who constantly tell them they deserve social programs, and total restitution forever and ever for slavery even though a very small fraction of them have any actual roots at all to slaves. Liberals play them for the victim so THEY can enslave them for votes.
I’m not a mermaid. I’m a merMAN!
Larry Elder has said that blacks (not including Larry, of course) are frequently lousy tippers and that’s why they frequently receive lousy service.
Are you a black guy?
Warren Sapp is another prime example showing that possession of money cannot buy class. He likely NEVER HAD CLASS and will likely never have it in the future.
Tip culture in the UK is very different. Worked in NI for many years. As a noob in Derry, I left a tip on the bar and was chased down the street bar the barman and my tip was returned.
They see it as an insult as if we view them as unable to make a good living at their job.
If you received good service, you didn’t leave money on the rail, you handed them enough cash to purchase a drink for after hours consumption.
I lived in Florida when he played for the Bucs. Big star in the Tampa Bay area. I guess he’s not getting his fat butt kissed like he did in those days. Mighty big chip on his shoulder.
If I call him a pecker head that can’t be racist since it is usually reserved for southern white folks?
Black privilege.
Some (small p@@@@@@) over-sensitive entitle minded men(?) of a certain persuasion object to the term “boys.” Especially ones with certain sexual proclivities.
Screw them.
No, but I’m a guy.
Been in that biz. Have friends in that biz. While there are exceptions, your statements are generally correct. That is why my African American friends in the biz HATE waiting on other African Americans. Again, with exceptions.
“Guys”? Nope. Too “white.” Seen that.
As a limo driver (back in the day) had a black doctor. Guess what, no tip.
Anyone who knows anything about restaurants and bars knows blacks are the cheapest, most rude people in the world. Ask any bartender, waiter or waitress.
I've been to functions where there were black and white people at the same long table in the restaurants. Blacks would always make a fuss, act stupid, order extra drinks etc. I was embarrassed to be sitting with them. Then when the check comes around they throw in $5 or $10 dollars for their $30 meal and 3 drinks. You have to have another black person talk to them and do the addition for them and tell them to shut up and stop embarrassing the whole table. If a white person does it they make it into a racial dispute.
What bar was that? I ran a bar in Derry for 8 years. There is no tipping culture but frequently you’d buy the barman a drink, which amounted to the same thing as he’d simply put the amount of cash in a jar beside the till.
I worked as a waiter in the US and was surprised at the end of my first month when I got a pay-check, I had thought that waiters simply lived off tips, which was what I was doing, and had no idea there was an actual wage paid by the restaurant too, foolish of me but that’s what I thought.
Blacks weren’t great tippers but not too bad either, they at least left something unlike French Canadians who always thought a Canadian quarter was a sufficient reward.
I might also add that I only ever twice saw a family pause before eating to say grace when I worked as a waiter, on both occasions the families were black.
