Yeah we did too in the Woodcrest area of Riverside. It was quite a shake. Got our attention LOL.
just barely felt here in south Orange County...but did notice it. Chandelier was swaying
Where is BBL?
Slight shaking in Huntington Beach, looks like it was shallow so I’m sure will be felt in widespread

PRELIMINARY EARTHQUAKE PARAMETERS
Slight bump here in Beaumont CA
Wondering if it’s associated quake of Landers-Big Bear Lake quake of 1992. I remember I was on my tractor, and the danged thing was going up on the outer edge of the tires as it rocked back, and forth seeming to almost tip over. Had my adrenulin running full speed. I looked at my wife who was standing a safe distance from me with a confused look, and she mouthed the word “EARTHQUAKE”. I couldn’t have heard her over the diesel engine.
Did not feel the quake in North Los Angeles County.
Too many illegals have come across the border.
California is tipping over.
Paging Representative Hank Johnson...Mr. Johnson, please pick up the red Courtesy Phone, paging Mr. Johnson...
Think Landers happened few hours before Big Bear but were believed to be related..both on San Andreas fault. Uh oh, hope not a repeat.
It was at 10 am local? We are in Sierra Madre (Pasadena). I did not feel it. But Thursday I felt one about 5:30 pm. Looked on USGS - it was a 1.8 in Redlands, BUT there had been about 30 that afternoon in the same place - right along the San Andreas fault. Where is 45 miles south of Barstow? In the mountains? Down in the basin?
Thanks hattend. We now know it wasn’t BBL.
Big Bear Lake epicenter.
8 inch Tsunami strikes Boulder bay they will rebulid
We live in Big Bear Lake in a large log home...sounded like the roof was being torn apart. Here is the link to USGS info:
I have friends who are there for the 4th July weekend. Said it felt way stronger than 4.6
It was just north and west of Big Bear Lake.
I used to live in the High Desert in the late 1960’s early 1970’s.. Hooterville!!!
BTW the Big Bear Lake elementary school is just down the street from us where our son went to school. It was 95% white when we moved here full time in 1993, it is now 90% mexican...we have been overrun.............
I would not have been happy to be climbing Castle Rock during an earthquake.
I live in Cypress, North Orange County and did not feel a thing.
Wow. I lived there 82-86. I barely recognize the place. I was there for the big rain of the summer of ‘84, and the plague of tiny frogs.
Remember both those weel i was sitting in my folks hot tub underneath the power lines that ran behind all the homes out by lax those were monster quakes and so cal is due for out 20 or so year 6.5 plus quake
sick i thought the mountains were still pretty white sdad to hear
It looks like you’re getting rained on, too, by the radar.
Mexicans must be doing pretty well. Isn’t Big Bear kind of a pricey resort community?
I know my Brother in Law has an impressive cabin up there.
Slept right through it, didn’t feel anything.
Are they middle class Hispanics or kids of low level employees or worse - illegals? Where do they all live in big bear?
We have a home between Lake Arrowhead an Running Springs.
Bush’s/Global Warming’s fault! Pun intended.
Thats why I left California the land of my birth. Earthquakes and I wanted to hear english again.
That is both amazing & scary. During an earthquake I once saw my 14k corrugated water tank shake & slosh water over the rim like it was a glass of water.
Luck to all.
NM has a new processing center that was just built for illegals and can house hundreds...2000 passed through this year in one in El Paso, they had 140 illegals fly in today. My question is who pays for the Airline passage from their country?
Is this part of the wealth redistribution?
We’re paying for it.
Somebody else on FR made a comment about illegals getting on commercial airliners WITHOUT ID’s. Let’s you and I try that.
Yeah I could save some money on healthcare...just think about it...a free mammogram, colonoscopy, and other invasive procedures...the men can get a free prostate exam too.
I read that about the airlines and no ID needed...Oh yeah it’s safe to fly now!
“California is tipping over.”
LOL....is this a maximum weight issue achieved now?
