The bad news: many dead, many more wounded who will require years if not decades of healthcare (i.e. - taxpayer subsidized medical care).

The good news: fewer democrat voters in Chicago.

The good news: fewer democrat voters in Chicago.

Not fewer, in fact, they're going to be more reliable voters from here on.

Since when did being dead stop someone from voting democrat?
I say: “Good news... less welfare recipients”

But at the rate these baby mamas plop out welfare check babies, they can’t kill each other fast enough.

OK...Then let’s add the American dead in LA, Detroit, New York, Atlanta, Miami, St Louis etc...

Would THAT help you see the point I was trying to make???

Probably not, but people can manipulate statistics to do just about anything. Say that next weekend only 20 people were shot. That would be like the Chicago Police going on the TV next week and saying they'd cut the crime rate by two thirds. And just as accurate.

The point being Chicago is MORE deadly than a war zone...
people are dying at home in Chicago at a greater rate than in a freaking war zone... THIS is desturbing to a Vietnam veteran such as myself...

If you can’t see this, I am truly sorry....

If children flee this violence and get to Texas, will the Federal government step in with refugee camps and benefits of Texas citizenship?

Over a year ago, Mayor Rahm Emanuel pleaded with the shooters to take their shooting to less traveled side streets and alleys to avoid collateral damage. Apparently, these shooters weren't impressed by the mayor's plea or didn't care. This cannot be happening in Chicago and Cook County after the effective victim disarmament program that's in place (aka ‘gun control’).

Rahm needs to paraphrase ex-Mayor Marion Barry of Washington, DC: “If it wasn't for all the murders, Chicago would have a very low crime rate.”
