Appeals court rules immigrant ‘dreamers’ can get driver’s licenses

A federal appeals court ruled Monday that young adult illegal immigrants whom President Obama has given tentative permission to be in the country — so-called “dreamers” — are also entitled to driver’s licenses and ordered Arizona to issue them.

I’d tell the court if you want them to have a DL... then issue them one. Arizona is not going to and its none of your business if we do or not.

Arizona should respond with a request for instructions on how those criminals can pick up those Federal drivers licenses.

The number of documents I had to provide to obtain my driver’s license renewal this year -(4), birth certificate, social security card, utility bill, and marriage license. How on earth do these people WALK across the border without a passport, screenings like the ones required to get on an airplane, and us “guessing” who they are???

The national security implications are immense, and now, the state of Arizona required to give them driver’s licenses with little to no documentation as to WHO they are and where they are from? The law seems to apply to only the CURRENT citizens.

This madness needs to stop...

Actually they should just say ok....then keep their requirements for a DL which, should be a birth certificate. The little dreamers can’t produce one of those.
