FULL TITLE: The moment two brazen women were caught red-handed trying to steal a beach canopy - then ATTACKED the bemused owner as he politely asked them to stop
Two women casually, though clumsily, trying to steal another beachgoer's canopy on a Florida beach were caught red-handed on July 4 by the owner.
The bumbling thieves may find it difficult to commit any more thefts since video the canopy's owner took of the bizarre confrontation has gone viral.
As Americans celebrated their freedom on the holiday, the two middle-aged women, dressed in swimwear, took their liberty a little too far at New Smyrna beach.

Just a guess. There are an abundance of them where I live & they have a way about them.
You win the thread.
ok. thx. just wondering. I don’t live in a high density lesbian area ... that I know of!
According to officials, the women could have faced charges of grand theft and simple battery.
Local 6 spoke with the husband of Linda Kelley, the woman in the red swimsuit in the video. He said the incident was a misunderstanding.
According to Kelley, the women thought the family’s beach things belonged to their friends and they were asked to pack up the items.
Nice to know that some local dumbass dirtbags are now internationally despised dumbass dirtbags.
Thanks, Daily Mail.
You know I could have believed them if other family members could somehow prove they had similar beach gear. I’ve been to the beach a lot and it’s easy to get lost while swimming, walking and playing. It’s also easy to confuse your stuff with that of someone else because basically the same company makes all if it. Which is why I write my name on all my things.
Be sure to thank Youtube as well.
Ebay has really changed the world. Which is where this stuff would have ended up.
I once left a hockey bag with 3 pairs of hockey skates at a local outdoor rink. I drove back 30 minutes later and the bag was gone.
I fell asleep at the beach in Florida and woke up without my canopi... Not a good feeling ... Some one took it away.
I told the father, who like me, is willing to do the right thing and return lost items. This same kid is getting the wrong message from his mom. I was at their home about a month ago, and he came in from the park with his mom and said he ‘found’ a football and was keeping it. His dad said that the ball was not his, and that he should have brought it to the ‘lost and found’, which the park clearly has.
Sure don’t sound like southern girls to me. May live in Chrystal River. Does not mean they are not Yankees.
I love these snippets.
Both graduated from Florida high schools. They appear to be born and bread southern girls.
