FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. (multiple votes using multiple internetz devices are allowed!) And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. The reason to wait is that to IMPEACH the Senate must convict...so even if the HOUSE votes to Impeach it dies in Senate...wait until Harry Reid is out and the votes are in the Senate to CONVICT IN THE IMPEACHMENT. CIVICS 101

My answer was only that we need both House and Senate for the Impeachment to work. As for what GOP would do is not relevant to what it actually takes to Impeach with conviction....and without that Senate vote it carries no real weight.

Of course he deserves to be removed from office for 100 different “high crimes and misdemeanors” but there's not a snowball's chance in hell that the Senate will vote to convict *and* it's extremely likely that it will greatly enhance his popularity...as it did for BillyBob.

If the house sends articles of impeachment to the senate they have to hear them. May not remove but have to have hearing presided by the chief justice.

No matter how the repubs do in Nov, they won’t have 66 woes to remove. But their is a duty to proceed and let the democrats do what they do.

Sure, but what does it say when nothing of importance happens and Obama declares victory over a House Impeachment?

I think the House is waiting to see what happens in November, I think that makes sense...it’s not like Zero is going anywhere before then....and circumstances may change enough to get something substantial.

POLL:   SHOULD REPUBLICANS IMPEACH OBAMA?

YES
72.12% (131,128 votes)

NO
13.01% (23,661 votes)

NOT NOW
15% (27,040 votes)

Total Votes:   181,829

I would count "Not now" as a "yes."

If the houses sends articles of impeachment that IS something.

What of importance is happening now to stop all the crap and corruption and deterioration of the country?

Nov may change the leadership of the senate, but they will still not have 66 votes to remove him. Impeach him for history and let the senate be on the wrong side as they were with Clinton.

I agree, not now. First we need control of the Senate.

Even if the Pubbies win every Senate race they will not have enough votes to convict., but just like during the Clinton years once Impeached they are politically emasculated.

I think even Obozo would be stopped and if he tries anything after an Impeachment the rest of Congress will put a leash on him.

Boner needs to better articulate why he is suing Bama

Boner is suing bama to look like he is 'doing something'. Nothing will come of it, but for a while people will be lulled into thinking there is some sort of opposition in Washington.

Impeach the bastard. If not now, when? If there aren't reasons enough, will we wait until the roundups start and people are marched off to the death camps?

It should have been done a long time ago, and multiple times since. Harass the SOB in chief like he has Cloward-Pivened America. Render him ineffective. There are enough offenses to bring a dozen Articles of Impeachment, each separately.

If they say ‘wait’ now and the GOP does nothing, they can blame the GOP later. Rather than standing for something. It’s the lesser evil strategy of blameshifting.

The founders did not write ‘Impeach for HCAM ‘if’ or ‘only when’ it was politically advantageous to do so’. They said if a HCAM occurs, you impeach. No excuses.

So either they were wrong or the current crop of ‘experts’ is.

You may be right...however Clinton was no less popular for his Impeachment, and he still collects his taxpayer dollars for having been President does he not? How much did it cost taxpayers to do the impeachment?

I support Impeachment, but not happy to pay out more millions or billions if Zero has his way...because it’s all about crashing the system for him... so what’s more spending.........what then? He has Impeachment Articles and that hurts him how?

Taxpayers pay him for the rest of his life and he pretends to write more books, and he makes billions with all his speaking engagements on how the racists attacked him unjustly. Just saying.....

Cheshire conservatives are the worst of all possible worlds. At least DU level Dems believe in something and fight for it even if we know it’s wrong.

Cheshires are the lowest form of hypocrite. They claim moral high ground while empowering the polar opposite of what they claim to believe.

And FR is full of them. Almost like someone sent them here to disrupt anything good from happening.

I would tell the House and Senate democrats - you want him out, you go ahead and take the lead. No way the gonad-less GOP should make a single move on Impeachment.

If Boehner wants to take him to court, fine. If they want to be serious about the IRS investigation, the Benghazi Investigation, the VA investigation, the NSA investigation, the border invasion, the economic catastrophe of 92 million unemployed, nearly 50 million on welfare, the Chicago crime massacre, the death of Detroit, the total loss of Iraq, the Russian incursion into Ukraine, the Keystone pipeline, the carbon tax impact on energy costs, cost of gasoline and inflated food prices, Obamacare financial death spiral, Eric Holder’s criminal justice department, John Kerry’s utter incompetence as Secretary of State, Chuck Hagel’s utter incompetence as Secretary of Defense, Harry Reid’s total shutdown of legislation and threats to circumvent the Supreme Courts’ Hobby Lobby decision, Iran’s continued nuclear program, the unending quantitative easing and printing of worthless money, the national debt approaching $18T, businesses moving overseas because of the high corporate taxes and regulations, or just bitch about Pelosi, all fine and ok to go after.

But under no conditions do you initiate Impeachment or even bring it up as long as you have worthless, America-hating leftists on the democrat side. Destroy them, and destroy Rino’s and occupy yourselves doing something useful, maybe one or two of the little things listed above.
