11-year-old kills his grandfather after grandfather shoots boy's father, newspaper reports

An 11-year-old North Carolina boy retaliated against his grandfather, fatally shooting the 84-year-old after the grandfather shot the boy's father, The Daily Dispatch reports.

Lloyd Woodlief died after he was wounded with a shotgun by the boy. Woodlief's son and the boy's father, Lloyd Peyton Woodlief, 49, is expected to recover from his injuries. But his son now faces juvenile charges, the newspaper reported.
