Thanks. I just had to go off and "shoo"t a pair of them. One did come back but only squawked once then flew away. I think that was a bird's idea of giving me the finger.

I know what you mean about the Afghanis. They are a very poor people whose sole source of income seems to be heroin. It's also landlocked, almost no sources of fresh water and CHOCK FULL of petty, ENDLESS, generational tribal warfare.

As for New York, I loved the Big Apple when I went for a visit. But...live there, I dunno.

Nice. A friend of mine is part Arabic, he had an uncle in Saudi Arabia who did engineering work for ARAMCO back in the 50’s, made great money. I’ve heard about the climate in that part of the world. I knew someone who was in the army during Desert Storm. Florida is like Alaska compared to the weather over there.

They also have camel spiders. One bit me IN MY OWN HOME. But that's another story.

Good idea as it is going to be brutal. Can you buy oil at todays price and have it delivered later?

They have a monthly plan, but it’s basically a timing game.

I go by the assumption it’s not going to get any cheaper, so I load up when I can.
