Runner Up Game at 4:00 PM on ESPN.
Brazil vs Netherlands.
Brazil needs to redeem itself from humiliation at the hands of Germany in Tuesday's semi-final.
Go Holland! I suppose.
The championship tomorrow should be good.
I have cable here.
Tomorrow’s final on the other hand hand, will be broadcast on ABC.
As the most important game in the tournament, the final will shatter global viewing records and a number of heads of state and government are expected to be on hand to attend it.
I have a feeling whoever wins will want to samba in the streets of Rio tomorrow night.
Be still my heart.
Netherlands scores on a penalty kick. 1-0.
Let's get six more and see a good riot.
I think that the two final games are between pairs of neighbors: Germany / Netherlands (neighbors) and Brazil / Argentina (neighbors). I find that very interesting.

Five more to go.
Netherlands kicks it in on a rebound. 2-0.
On ABC tomorrow and a FReeper gave me a link to watch today online...
Life is good.
Thanks to all.
Best sequence in the whole movie, especially if you include Hulk giving the side punch to Thor!
The announcer on telemundo who goes “gooooooall” after each goal has filed a workman’s compensation claim for laryngitis.
None of your links work, unless I am holding my mouth wrong when I click...
Chode’s first link still works for me. Just got to wait a minute or two. Streaming great! Patience.
they all came from here... guess the links didn’t copy correctly
i’m watching live right now on the link in post#3
Brazil is going to abolish soccer and just have have NFL expansion teams after this.
Nice goal by the Blind guy ....
Halftime - Netherlands leads 2-0.
.... or the Agony of de Feet (again) ;?
They must be down to their fifth-stringers by now.
OH! I’M SO HURT! (Cannot go on with such tripping, Coach. Take me out.)
‘Looks like even the Ref is getting tired of the diving, issuing a Yellow card to Brazil although maybe it wasn’t really merited in this case. It is getting tiring seeing all the begging for penalties.
Brazil should have been playing a man down since the second minute. How Silva’s back-collar-pull-down of Robben earned a yellow card and not a red, I have no idea.
Netherland scores in the 91st minute!
Netherlands defeats Brazil 3-0 and Brazil’s losing streak has been extended.
Congrats, Netherlands! What a superb game and an exciting end to a memorable World Cup tournament.
To paraphrase the CBC announcer, Netherlands defeat Brazil 3-0 for the right NOT to be called a double-Lewser ....
Brazil played a better defensive game than on Tuesday night but it was simply no match for the aggressive Dutch football machine which made short work of a demoralized Brazil.
Well they can cross their fingers and pray Argentina cries uncle in front of Germany tomorrow.
Some of the German players may actually be uncles of the Argentines (i.e. once-”removed” ;)
So Brazil scores only one goal in the last 2 games? Where’s Pele when they really need him?
Given all that the current government has invested in having this and the 2016 Olympics (Rio de Janeiro), I think that there might be trouble brewing. In spite of all the hype about the BRIC nations (Brazil, Russia, India and China) as investment worthy countries, there is a lot of unrest and class warfare going on in Brazil. While the current Brazilian President, Dilma Rousseff, has tended towards a crony-capitalism policy, a significant move from her youthful Marxist views, her inter-America friendships are strongly on the left.
Now, without the semi-religious joy of a winning Brazilian Team, and with a disappointing tourism bump, the worry is that the turkey’s might come home to roost. A single goal in the last two games with the opponents scoring 10 will leave a sour taste that not even all of Brazil’s sugar cane can wipe out.
The commentator stated the Brazil fans where chanting obscenities at their players.
But obviously not for repeating on air. hehe
People forget that in Brazil, soccer is EVERYTHING, especially the fortunes of the Seleção, as their national team is known in the country. The two horrifying losses in the semifinal and now the third-place game is going to hammer that country's psyche for years to come.
So to sum up the score for Brasilians, they lost two embarrasing games, didn’t build the infrastructure they were promised, but they get to keep the bill for the expensive stadiums, (one of which was built in a city with no soccer team)
