Given that I actually enjoyed the World Cup this year and looking forward to 2018, must I now turn in my Conservative credentials and banished forever from Free Republic? And how dare they call it the World Cup! The only event deserving that moniker is good old all-American baseball since filthy furreigners aren't involved except for that Eskimo team from way up yonder in Manitoba or somesuch place that I done never heard of and don't want to know anything about. So there! :)
