I’m waiting for Air New Zealand to resume those overflights of Antarctica they once had.I’d pay serious $$$ for such a flight...as long as they promised not to fly into any mountains.

the Anduin River where Aragorn was washed ashore after the attack of the Wargs

That's going to be tough. The attack would have been hundreds of miles from the Anduin.

In the late 70's Air new Zealand had flights from New Zealand to Antarctica which isn't *that* far if you look at a map. They were overflights...they didn't land...and IIRC the whole thing, from takeoff to landing, was something like 10 to 12 hours. But one of those flights crashed into Mount Erebus killing everybody on board.Visiting Antarctica...or at least seeing it from the air...is tops on my bucket list.
