DETROIT – A young man who participated in a mob attack on a Detroit-area motorist needed a father to "beat the hell" out of him as a kid to discourage him from committing such a crime, a judge said Thursday.

The stunning remarks by Wayne County Judge James Callahan came as he sentenced Latrez Cummings to six months in jail.

In response to the judge's question, Cummings, 19, said his father wasn't around when he was growing up.

Whatever.

Another robed idiot giving another self-rightous moral sermon.

Its his legal system that has removed fathers from the lives of children.

“the judge needs a beat down for giving a measly 6 months sentence”

Was that all the judge could sentence him to? I don’t know the laws of that state so I’m asking other FReepers.

The TV newsman from Jersey City, NJ, Jepsen? was fired for saying that black youths needed fathers for guidance.

He is VINDICATED by this judge.

He won’t get his job back, but he spoke “truth to power”, and while “power” (the tv station) fired him, he beat the crap out of the PC cowards with the truth.

If the thug in question had a father consistently around then more than likely a beating wouldn't be needed. Just guidance and supervision. With that said, the judge should have told the thug's slut mother that she should have kept legs shut.

There was a time when the fear of having a bastard child changed behaviors.

Tommy Sotomayor gets on youtube and his radio show and says black boys need a father every day. He gets called a "coon, gay, uncle tom," and told "your momma black". He has people stalking and harassing him over that. White folks? No! Black people. photo tommy.jpg

WHAT? People aren’t responsible for their own actions? My guess is the “father” got what he wanted and moved on. Momma let him get the milk for free, so he rolled on!

And if he did, then the law would get him for child abuse.
