What’s the difference between a shame and a crying shame?
When my dad worked at this one timber company he said if you hadn’t heard a good rumor by 8:00 you were supposed to start one. Apparently the media must have all worked at that same company.
Either Putin is a bad liar, or this missile hits plane thing is really complicated.
If I were Malaysia Air, I wouldn’t give up the passenger manifest, given the two insurmountable injuries over the last few months.
Maybe 96 of them were blown from the plane but gently floated to Earth?
Malaysian Air should contract that job out to Cass Sunstein, head of the US Ministry of Information: “Why, yes. Things *can* simply disappear. Everything from e-mails to flight manifests. With the right honorarium...”
Was wondering how 100 could get on the same plane. Thought maybe another aids conference had just ended in Amsterdam. Should have just assumed the reporting was wrong. Lots of sensationalism surrounding this story.
There were 100 Aids scientists and 23 Americans.
Oh. Misread that. Thanks for the correction. How in the world did 100 get on the same plane ? They must have meet in Amsterdam ?
The cure for AIDS may have been on that plane, we just dont know.” Reminds me of my time at San Francisco State University, and the ‘cure’ for AIDS back then. It came in the form of ancient wisdom, true throughout the ages - “what do you do when you drop your wallet on Polk St? Kick it to Geary, don’t bend over.”
Ya gots to wonder how many CIA people might have been on the jet as they are the ones responsible for creating aids in the 1st place aren’t they?
‘And they did not have the cure. They had the disease. /sarc’
Are we to feel this is a bad thing?
I don’t know how many were actually on that plane any more, conflicting reports but they were on their way to a conference which will go on without them.
