I love new recipes, so I had to look-however-not only does the combination of ingredients sound pretty awful, but I’ll hazard a guess that what is so appealing about the stuff is that it at least partially ferments to give the drinker a cheap buzz...
I’ll stick with homemade beer and wine, thanks...

From what I understand they don`t distill it. They drink the swill as is. He said the guards waged an eternal Hooch war, confiscating and destroying what they found, didn`t stop the inmates.
