NASHVILLE — Sandra Dudley has moved on, free to worry about other toilets in other places.

Dudley, you’ll remember, is the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation official who warned employees against flushing shoes down work toilets.

TDEC officials are adamant the results of a recent employee engagement survey had nothing to do with Dudley’s departure.

Dudley’s replacement — for a job that generally requires a professional engineer — has a background in journalism... [Snip]...

Benton received a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the
University of Missouri-Columbia in 1996.

Isn't this like Obama rotating people through positions to give them a future resume enhancement
for their dedication to the Marxist theology? This is a joke.

She must be putting out..

We have this problem where I work. These signs were put up and the company was promptly sued. The signs came down.

Shows just how much they value their employees. Promote an obviously unqualified person who knows squat about the sewer system let alone the complexity of waste water treatment processes.

Does the mayor not understand that violations of their discharge permit can lead to his arrest ? As much as I hate to say this, things like this could cause an employees to commit sabotage just to get even. At minimum it just demoralizes staff.

In many Asian countries and elsewhere they just squat over the hole in the floor. I’m guessing some times they lose a shoe in the mess.

Which clogs the toilets, forcing them to crap in the hallways.

Just another reason to secure the borders.

She probably had to put out a statement like that to employees so that she would be able to fire the employees they caught doing this.

In Spokane, the Sheriff fired a deputy for having sex on duty. That deputy was reinstated by an arbitrator, despite lying during the investigation and now being useless as a deputy. The Sheriff had to have everybody in the department sign a notice acknowledging that they could be fired for having sex on duty.

In government work you get lectures, notices, training, etc. on an astounding array of subjects that makes you roll your eyes. For example, don't drive your government vehicle to a strip club and get so drunk you get one of the strippers to drive you home. When you wake up the next morning don't report your government car stolen just because you were so drunk you didn't remember telling the stripper to drive the government car to her house. No, that guy didn't get fired.

In my profession I retired from I retrieved many odd items from commodes. I can’t remember if a shoe was on the list LOL. Seriously I worked maintenance in nursing homes and the residence {who were not of sound mind} would throw things in them. Rolls of TP was the most common. A shoe? Unless it’s a small kids shoe it won’t flush in any USA commodes not even commercial ones.

I’ve seen this before.....Commode Crocs. They grab you while you’re sitting on the toilet. Sometimes, all that’s left is a shoe. They need to do a roll call of employees. I’ll guarantee that one is missing.

“Johnson? Johnson? Oh no! She’s the only one who can fix the copier!”

They like to grab the skinny people because they’re easier to drag through the pipes. That’s why you’ll find that it’s skinny people who are crapping in the hallway. They know “Don’t get caught on the pot”.

Aye.....you all know me. You know I can catch this Commode Croc for you. Remember how I caught old “Ass-Biting Annie” up in Boston? I can catch this one, too.
But I’m going to need a few things. Get me a Swiffer mop, a thermos and a catcher’s mitt. And a Snickers bar. I missed lunch.
I’m also going to need some help. I’ll take the dog catcher and that little s**t in the grade school who keeps putting firecrackers in the toilet. That’s what draws them Crocs to an area.
Now, stay away from the toilets in this building while I’m after this Croc. If you need to go, well, poop out the window. Don’t worry about the people walking on the sidewalk below. This is a government building and people are used to you crapping on them.

I once knew an inmate (I worked for the Dept of Correction) who flushed an entire mattress down the toilet. Probably comes from having too much time on your hands.
