Does a quieter North Korea represent progress in dealing with the rogue states threat to peace?
On Sunday, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said the U.S. was moving forward with efforts to denuclearize North Korea and pointed to coordination with China, most recently on Mr. Kerrys visit to Beijing.
Speaking on NBCs Meet the Press, Mr. Kerry also cited a quieter North Korea since his previous visit to Beijing in April 2013 as evidence of progress on restraining Pyongyangs aggression.

Maybe they are “quieter” because they attended his soothing guitar concert in Bejing? The “man” is a genius, I tell you.

The North Koreans are the most secretive regime in the world and everything the North Koreans do is covert.

North Korea is quiet because South Korea and China have become very friendly in the last few years. Xi Jinping has had just about enough of Kim’s provocations, and he isn’t about to let North Korea damage the excellent economic relationship China and South Korea have developed.
