Following Orders: The Death of Vince Foster, Clinton White House Lawyer Prologue
One Rock Ink Publishing ^

Posted on 07/21/2014 5:56:45 AM PDT by Opinionatedtoday

While it might have initially appeared that the deputy counsel to the president of the United States was taking a nap in a park—lying neatly face-up on a steep embankment with his feet pointing down—Vincent W. Foster Jr. was not napping. He was dead. Dressed in expensive trousers and a white dress shirt, less than eight miles from the White House, he was lying dead. A single gun-shot wound to the head. Dead. Some of the blood on Foster’s face was still wet, but starting to dry. A trail of blood flowed upwards from his nose to above his ear.[1] The man who found his body said there was no gun, but after he left to notify police, a gun appeared in Foster’s hand.[2] It was July 20, 1993. President William Jefferson Clinton’s Arkansas childhood friend, and First Lady Hillary Clinton’s Rose Law Firm partner, and White House confidante was dead.

At the pinnacle of his law career, where rumors of a U.S. Supreme Court appointment abounded, Foster, the loving husband and father of three, who worked directly with the most powerful couple in the world, was dead. The tall, handsome, Southern gentleman, would never see his forty-ninth birthday, never laugh, smile, or speak again. The twinkle in his hazel eyes was forever darkened. Vince Foster was dead.

It was an executive assistant in Hillary’s presidential counsel’s office, Linda Tripp, who was officially one of the last people to have seen Foster alive in the White House.

White House reporter: “Considering Mr. Foster’s position and his status [in the Clinton White House], isn’t it reasonable to assume that law enforcement agencies are at least going to make some attempt to determine a motive here?

With the gun pressed backwards into the hand, with the thumb in the trigger guard.

‘Yet despite that, the Obama-Clinton regime was reelected to lead America for a second term.’

Clearly, it wasn’t just the Clintons who wanted the Vince problem to vanish. The electorate too were more than happy to have another 4 years of the corruption and lies. They certainly got what they wanted. I suspect if the GOP runs someone as useless as Bob Dole this time around and Hillary can maintain herself we could have another 4 or 8 years of the Clintons. America is where it is today b/c We the People are corrupt. The pols are merely a mirror of who we’ve become as a people.

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that the revolver was stainless, not blued.

I remember the story. Vince Foster was the guy who walked through Ft. Marcy Park and then killed himself there, without managing to get any dirt or grass on his shoes. Maybe he flew there.

It is remarkable, given that the political environment and state of the media back then was much less “in the tank” that it is today, that this incident has not been more fully investigated. It has never made any sense.

I hadn’t heard that before, but there’s so many things about that whole incident which smell, it’s amazing.

Vince was a ‘middle-man’ who took bank bonds for various characters out of Arkansas back in the pre-Clinton years over to Europe and helped to set up bank accounts out of the US. I don’t think he was ever a big-time character at this sort of business...just doing well and being liked by a wide cast of characters in Little Rock and the region for his dedication to their assets.

Based on the various stories....I think Vince came to DC, and was going to continue with this side-job...with various lobbyists helping new administration players with cash (really bank bonds). At some point, kinda like Don Johnson’s episode at the German border around a decade ago...Vince screwed up, and caught the attention of someone. I don’t know if it was US Customs, German customs, or who....but I think someone wrote down the bond numbers and it was going to become a episode of investigation by some gov’t agency. Vince had no alibi worth two cents on this, and I think some folks really took episode harshly....with more than just blame at stake here.

Well, “now” would be a great time for an investigative writer like Jerome Corsi to dig into the Foster death while Hillary is on the rise.

Speaking of Corsi, get a load of the crap that is on his wikipedia page:

“Jerome Robert Corsi (born August 31, 1946) is an American author, political commentator and conspiracy theorist[1][2] best known for his two New York Times bestselling books: The Obama Nation and Unfit for Command (with co-author John O’Neill). Both books, the former written in 2008 and the latter in 2004, attacked Democratic presidential candidates and were criticized for including numerous inaccuracies”

The biggest red flag for me was the willingness of the Clinton White House to let the Park Police investigate the death. The Park Police? A high ranking government official is found dead in park with a gunshot wound. He’s a close friend and attorney to the President and the First Lady. Bring in the FBI, the CIA and private investigators in order to find out what happened. But no....well gee say the Clintons, the park police have jurisdiction let THEM do the death investigation. This was so smelly...

I remember at the time, Bill Clinton made public remarks, to the effect that the pressures of Washington and public life get to some people, and apparently caused Foster to commit suicide.

Was there ever a complete investigation, or was there a whitewash and rush to judgement that it was a suicide, and nothing more?

Anyone who suggested that Vince Foster was not a suicide was denounced as a rightwing conspiracy nut who hated the Clintons.

The eventual consensus view not so denounced was that Foster committed suicide, but not in the location where the body was found. Possibly in the WH parking garage.

I can't wait to see who the Dems pick for our candidate this time.

media back then was much less “in the tank” that it is today

Not so....I remember Sam Donaldson being all giddy on election night 1992 (I'd had hernia surgery that day, and was watching TV all night) on some program boasting "We in the media all knew that the economy is getting better, but weren't about to give Bush any credit"......I hated his ass from that night on.

FR’s Alamo-Girl did an amazing job at tracking all the Clinton crap. She put it all together in “THE DOWNSIDE LEGACY AT TWO DEGREES OF PRESIDENT CLINTON” which is available here: http://alamo-girl.com/

The info on Vince Foster is in the section: remembering the dead, subsection: suicides.
Here’s a direct link to that: http://alamo-girl.com/0361.htm

Names are listed first, so you have to scroll down some to get to Vince Foster. It’s a lot of info, but well worth the read. Give Alamo-Girl a big thank you and attta girl for the incredible amount of work she did putting it all together.

I hope somebody is doing the same documenting of Obama.

No “rush to judgment.” The judgment was determined before the deed was done.

It seems as if the Dems choose the Republican Candidate but the dynamics of the Republican Party itself produces such men. The Nomination is a reward for long service and effective money raising. The recipients of the award crave the recognition but being President would unnecessarily complicate their lives and they don't want to do that. So each one, after the Nomination, takes a dive. I believe that the Bush II elections were a fluke in that I think Bush was following the same sort of path. He was not trying very hard and won anyway. Bush I was inevitable because the voters thought they were voting for Reagan redux. Ford fit the mold well. He accepted the appoint as president ̣(or that is what it essentially was) as his due honor and it was offered in that vein but he was not enthusiastic about election at all.

It was also curious that the death of such a heavyweight was investigated by the Park Service not the FBI
