Froning remains in 1st, Fraser is right behind him (only 10 points away), and Bridges is still in 3rd.

Camille had a rough time on the Midline March WOD, but she's still in 1st overall. Kara Webb didn't even come close to finishing and is now in 2nd place behind Annie Thorisdottir.

Two events to go!

THICK 'N QUICK

3PM Pacific
Points Available: 100

For time:

4 rope climbs
3 overhead squats (245 / 165 lb.)

Time Cap: 4 minutes

After completing Thick 'n Quick, athletes will complete an unknown event, revealed to them on the floor.

Quick update: only the top 30 men and top 30 women will perform these last two WODs.

Kara Webb, who dominated most of the weekend, but who fell back a bit to 3rd place has withdrawn from the competition. No reason given so far, but the look on her face at the Midline March indicated she was really hurt. This now puts Michele Letendre in 3rd place overall.

Outside of the cuts, no change to the men’s side of the house.

Rich Froning is the Fittest Man on Earth for the fourth year in a row! I don’t know how he pulled it out, but he did and it was amazing!

Mathew Fraser takes silver, and Jason Khalipa takes bronze!

What an amazing year!

You’re welcome! It was quite an impressive weekend of incredibly fit people showing what they’re made/capable of. Guess I should hit the gym!

My EOD detachment PT’d five days a week from 8am to noon, including a hour in a lap pool at the gym and a six mile run each morning. Local university allowed us to use their facilities to determine body fat percentage. Best I ever got was 9%. Wonder what these crossfit, top of the line professionals body fat percentages are ? Has to be low yet not so low as to be unhealthy enough to effect their endurance etc ....

Endurance was our goal as far as physical fitness.
