Cops: Main Line McDonald’s Worker Was Selling Drugs While On The Job

RADNOR, Pa. (CBS) — A worker at a McDonald’s on the Main Line was serving up more than a happy meal, police say.

Investigators say what he is accused of doing in the parking lot was illegal and now he is facing serious charges.

According to investigators, the worker, identified by Radnor Police as 29-year-old Allen Trammell, at the Lancaster Avenue McDonald’s in Strafford was selling crack cocaine in the parking lot of the restaurant while he was on the job.

Investigators say Trammell was a street level dealer who through word of mouth may have been making upwards of $1,500 a week selling dime bags of crack cocaine in the parking lot.

Police say they made four undercover buys before taking Trammell into custody on numerous drug charges.

When he was arrested, police say he had 57 bags of crack cocaine in his possession.

Radnor Police Lieutenant Andy Block says Trammell has been employed at the fast food restaurant for about two years.

“When not working as a crew and preparing food, he was out in the rear parking lot selling crack cocaine. So in a sense, it can give you a new definition of what may be considered a happy meal,” Block said.

During a news conference Wednesday, Blocks said there is concern that the worker was working in food preparation while handling the drugs.

Block says there’s no indication drugs were sold either over the counter or through the drive-thru window.

Police believe Trammell may have seen selling for six months to a year.

Trammell, of Philadelphia, was unable to post his $100,000 bail.

The guy should be commended for holding down two jobs.

OK, Dupa. That made me cry!
I know you are a “Sow-cider” but man...those were the glory days of Tiger baseball, regardless of W/L record.

BTW
I left the job at Lake Calumet and moved to Texas.
I’ll still be retiring back in the Great Lakes area.
Got out before the Asian Carp killed me!

i'm glad i'm old enough to have experienced Fidrych. You just can't explain the phenomena to those not around for it. Especially the way he would pack the parks.

And you are the rare man who leaves the south to retire back up in the snow belt!

Did SWAT bust in the door and go into MickeyD’s with weapons pointed, looking for a dog to shoot???

Did they get free Big Mac’s before they left????

Heck, Dupa...

I’m old enough to remember McLain and Lolich combining to give the “pussycats” 48 wins in 1968. McLain’s 31-win season will never be bettered!

About 15 years ago I saw the same thing going on in a McDs in San Francisco. I emailed the corp. hq. about it. Within a week the store was closed and all employees fired. Within 3 weeks a new mgr. and crew was trained and the store reopened.

As a long time stockholder I was pleased and proud of how it was handled.
