Married to Muslim in Abu Dhabi
A woman who had stuck to her religion despite her marriage to a Muslim finally decided to convert to Islam while she was in hospital in Abu Dhabi having treatment for cancer.
A day after she converted, the woman died.
The woman had been bed-ridden in hospital for months before doctors told her husband that her case became incurable after cancer spread through several parts of her body.
A day before her death, her husband called the Abu Dhabi judicial department and asked them to send a woman for his wife to perform her conversion to Islam.
Standing near her bed in hospital, the department employee performed the woman’s conversion to Islam and returned to her office.
On the next day, the husband visited the department to thank the woman and tell her that his wife has just died.
“The wife had decided to stick to her religion although she was married to a Muslim for many years. When she fell ill, she was still reluctant to convert to Islam and her husband had respected her decision,” Al Khaleej daily said.
“Just a day before she died, his wife told him she wanted to convert to Islam. He immediately called the judicial department. A day after she embraced Islam, the man’s wife died as a Muslim woman.”

She may have been coerced or effected by mental issues.

I am thinking the someone in the family just said it to cover their butts to prevent another honor killing or something, either that or it is linked to inheritance or something...
I dunno, is there a “Jizya Death Tax”.....

I believe that is the only way anyone converts to that cult.

Some decisions have more severe consequences than others.
Must make good decisions about such matters. Important.
Too bad, she is probably regretting that lapse in sanity right about now.

I find it hard to believe that a woman who maintained her Christian faith through many years of marriage to a Muslim while living in a Muslim country and who, long hospitalized and drugged for cancer, converts on her last day on Earth, receives eternal condemnation.
I agree. The LORD knows what is in a person’s heart and also every aspect of every circumstance that happens to them.
Love it! I think that’s exactly how some DO see God.
