Meanwhile......at Russian Space Command......

“Well, Putin said he wanted lizards in space.”

“You dumbass! Lasers! He said he wanted lasers in space!”

“Does this mean he didn’t want the pale nuns in space, too?”

“Railguns, Yuri, railguns! Go get your hearing checked!”

A spaceship full of horny lizards is missing? Has anyone seen Bill Clinton lately?

It doesn’t take much for lizards to go into a shutdown and curl up and sleep until they peacefully starve to death.

I know. It's horrible that the Russkies can't seem to regain control of their space module. I hope they can bring the lizards safely home. I am a lizard fan and have many small species as pets. Including an adorable leo named Sunshine.

Cute lizard! We have a leopard gecko, too. One thing I love about lizards is how quiet they are ;-).

It’s worrying that the Russians have lost contact with their spacecraft even if it didn’t have live animals aboard!

There are some geckos, you may be interested to know, that actually MAKE NOISE. They have chirping calls at night. It’s rather eerie until you know what the noises are! Leos are NOT among the chirping kinds. Those are the tropical kinds.

I was surprised, when it was given to us, that it didn’t “geck.” Pleasantly surprised!
