Take one of the basic free online html tutorials and use a template you like at one the hosting sites you will be fine.

Don’t worry if it seems complicated. CSS & HTML are for layout. Create DIVs (boxes to put content in) Add some styling for the fonts (size & type & color)
The hard part is content. Create a folder and put the index.html page there and a subfolder for your images.
Create subfolders for each page with an image folder so they do not get mixed up and you can sort things out easily.

Great place for tools that will make things easy. They have different Generators that let create what took frustrating hours (it seems) in minutes.

Try this book. I found it for me to be the best that told me the basics and explained how things worked. You can buy at Amazon or download here: Copy and paste the link in a new tab. Once it downloads the go to File> Save Page as and save to your desktop.
