I used to have a recipe for celerity root salad. It’s a lot like potato salad with more snap!

Oh wait a min...I thought you wrote...

it is stunning how fast things are moving. personally I do NOT get how people are not sympathetic to Israel, the animus against it honestly seems insane to me. It has to be Satan inspired hate because they are God’s Chosen.

Well you know what Hitler said about the Jews. Proof of God’s existence.

The celerity with which the Muslims have purged Christians from Mosul is mind boggling. The Kurds can offer refuge to no more.

Pray for them, especially on August 1.

Indeed we are, not only on same page, but on timeline, as from the time-stamp, it looks like I was in the process composing my reply as he was making his!

Welcome to WFTD! Come back and see us sometime. We’re here every weekday and can put you on a ping list, if you like.

The celerity congress is showing
Is not in any way impressive-
They turn a deaf ear to us all
Unless the outcry is excessive

And then they just stand there
In silence-and with the hope
That we won’t stay so furious
We give them some more rope

The more time that goes on
The more anger seems to grow-
So by November, many may find
Out of office in the DC snow

I came home from work to find that my keyboard is suddenly malfunctioning so I have to copy some letters, and it deletes stuff-I can’t justify a 40 mile round trip to and from the nearest shop just to get a keyboard, so I’ll have to make do until tomorrow...

Titus is fond of walking on the thing, so I have a reasonable suspicion as to who is responsible...

I had no idea there were so many who were anti-Semitic in countries outside the middle east-and France. I think God is getting really pissed off-as you pointed out, they are His Chosen-one way or another, dire consequences are bound to result from pushing them to react to violence with the same. But I can hardly wait to see what is visited on Hamas and those evil enough to agree with them...

A+ for you. Computer gremlins have been bothering us for the past few weeks as well, so I empathize. I am trying a new recipe here for salted caramel pineapple upside down cake and crossing my fingers that it turns out well.

Thank you! I really dislike having issues with electronic devices...

That sounds interesting-pineapple upside down cake, along with fresh fruit pie or cobbler made with honey or brown sugar, gingerbread pigs and empanadas was one of the sweets served on holidays and other special occasions when I was a kid-my mom made a good one with fresh pineapple slices...

I’m worried about these cakes. I made one to give away and one for us, to test before I actually take it to some friends but both pans overflowed quite a bit in the oven(fortunately I had placed them on cookie sheets, anticipating a little boil over). Plus the cake looks very dark and I don’t know why. We sampled the bit that overflowed and it doesn’t taste burned, it’s not charred, but I’m concerned and haven’t flipped them out yet. What would make it do that?

I don’t know-I’ve had that happen when I overfilled a pan-but I’m bad about doing that-I’ve even had loaves of bread get out of hand in the oven. Did the recipe say how much to fill the container? Most of the time, it really doesn’t, so you have to guess at it...

Windows has an on-screen keyboard under the “Accessibility” features from the start menu.

I will use deep dish pans next time and cut the salt at least in half. It is way too salty for me and I think it would not be good to give to my elderly friends so I’m baking them a coffee cake instead. It is called a salted caramel pineapple upside down cake but apparently salted caramel anything is too salty for me.
