Who can remember before Obama ‘united’ the country, the relative concinnity of it all.

And once those people are inevitably swept out of office, concinnity will return once again.

Obamacare, with pure asininity
Has premiums rising up to infinity
If Barack has the smarts
Why do all the law’s parts
Lack cohesion, congruity, and concinnity?

Fox just did a whole segment on the infectious diseases in the “welcome centers” at the border. Some doctor said it made no sense to be sending these children and criminals into our population before waiting to see if they are ill.

i was resenting that we were accepting the Ebola patient to Emory, until i saw they were Americans who were stricken while working for Samaritan’s Purse. Yes, they need to be cared for here.

Oh yes, I agree with the ebola folks - my comment was directed toward the third world chicken pox, scabes, lice, etc kids coming up from the south. The report was about how many border agents have chicken pox

Just the thought of those two things together - pasta and chili, gags me. I don’t see the connection at all. But, white gravy on biscuits doesn’t appeal to some and it is a staple down here.

Xsteen wanted to invite them hoping they will send a card or something, Bethany invited while he was prez and he sent a nice certificate. Xsteen loves W and hopes for same.

Sorry dude...Nope.

I appreciate their good works, but to me...that falls into the mountain climber category.

You knew the risks going in.

It’s odd, isn’t it...some home schooling mother want’s to not follow an aggressive state mandated vaccination rate..particularly over MMR, (oh, and recent Mumps outbreaks..just never you mind...) and the medical community screams “herd protection rate” and we get the Eli Lilly protection act, (thanks Dr.Frist)but hey...a couple med professionals get sick, and lets import the ebola virus....

Not havin any.

She took xsbaby and I over there when we were visiting once. She and her best friend knew where several Caps lived too (didn’t invite any!)

humanitarians are distinguishable from selfish mountain climbers. Samaritan's Purse is franklin Graham's organization. They're doing the Lord's work.

While I agree that there are people who do stupid things and put themselves in dangerous situations, I don't think a doctor or nurse helping people falls into that catagory. As conservatives, we want people to donate time or money to things they believe in, instead of our government deciding for us, so when an American donates his time and skill to help, why would we abandon them? A soldier joins the military, would we not bring him home? What about people traveling in another country - if war broke out and they needed help getting home would we say "too bad, you went there on your own"?

If someone went to save the "selfish mountain climber" and got hurt, would we also say they were selfish and not help them?

Of course they are. That is hardly the point.

And the Dr. That wrote that article, is an @$$hole. Sorry. Calling people un-american over fairly justified concerns, is both arrogant, and foolish beyond belief.

There is also the issue of buo-terrorism. Is it likely...no. Possible...only about as much as 19 guys with box cutters taking down three of the most prominent buildings on the planet, near simultaneously.

It’s fairly quite surprising on consideration that these nuts that strap bombs to themselves or drive them into buildings have not yet thought to just go get sick, and dwell around five or six major airports...

It took 19 on 9/11.

A category A bioterrorism agent. Yes, lets bring it to the US, not treat in place, and going one step further, lets treat it in a civilian area...

*excerpt*
Given the lethal nature of Ebola, and since no approved vaccine or treatment is available, it is classified as a biosafety level 4 agent, as well as a Category A bioterrorism agent by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It has the potential to be weaponized for use in biological warfare.[91] The BBC reports in a study that frequent outbreaks of Ebola may have resulted in the deaths of 5,000 gorillas.[92]
