I think they have the top three correct. Which of the three wins the national championship will depend on which team is most successful at keeping their players out of the penitentiary.

I agree with that for the most part. I would swap Ohio St and Auburn, and I would drop Baylor and move Georgia up 2 spots to 10. Watch out for Arizona St this season, they are going to surprise a lot of people.

Heh heh, since most likely the Gators will stink again this year with Muschump, I’ll have to take the laughs where I can get them.

These guys obviously didn’t see what Oklahoma did to Alabama.

Alabama didn’t even belong on the same field as Oklahoma.

The BCS should stand for “Bull Crap Session.”

FSU is a third rate school and team, and they are playing the equivalent of high school opposition this season. Just check out that laughable line-up. The Citadel? Really? I didn’t even know they had a team.

At least Auburn continues to maintain a tough SEC standard by continuing to play strong teams like LSU, Ole Miss, Arkansas, South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama this year, and they are number 5 to FSU?

I laugh as I imagine the Criminoles playing teams like those back to back.

This really reminds me of the year that BCS placed Hawaii as number one in the Nation, and then they played Georgia and got wiped out 41-10.

Go FSU Rainbow Warriors, haha.

Be fair, there’s been a history of SEC teams not showing up for the Sugar Bowl. If they aren’t in the Championship Game, they have no motivation.

What game were you watching? Bama was driving in an attempt to tie the game late in the 4th quarter when Oklahoma intercepted the ball and ran it back for a TD to win by 2 TDs. The Sooners won the game in convincing fashion, but to say that Bama did not belong on the same field is an absolute stretch.

The BIG(10,11,12,14?) schools should be flip flopped in order and TOSU dropped down to around 16th. Urban Myer will pan out to be a disappointment at TOSU due to unrealistic fan expectations. Two losses a year will not cut it in old Columbus town.

Only if another scandal occurs with Ohio State, which seems to occur when someone thinks they’re doing too well. That is, Urban Meyer’s first season as well as Tressel’s later seasons would fall under this category.

At the rate they’re getting them, they should look to joining the SEC just for the near-immunity from any penalty. Or at worst, have the SEC teams sit on the outside of things.

I’d accept a drop in rankings after the entire SEC’s membership has gotten the Ohio-Pennsylvania treatment - penalties and/or record revisions - including Alabama.

Nice to see my Baylor Bears doing well.
If they can beat OU again and avoid laying an egg against OSU they should be alright.
But with college kids (or NFL kids) you just can’t bet the farm they will show up on any given day.
That’s why I don’t bet.
