President Barack Obama has been criticized for continuing to headline political fundraisers while the country is facing so many crises, but veteran political commentator Dick Morris says the president doesn't seem to care if it hurts his image.
"I think Obama has almost 'cashed-it-in' at far as that goes," Morris told Ed Berliner on "MidPoint" on Newsmax TV Thursday.
"I think he's removed, distracted, aloof," he said.
"If I open the newspaper tomorrow and I learn that Obama resigned, I wouldn't be surprised," Morris added.

“The Democrats in the Senate would have a problem because they voted to impeach [former President Richard] Nixon over the exact same grounds,” he said.

This seems to come from an alternate universe. First the house votes to impeach, impeachment is an indictment. The Senate holds the trial to decide whether to REMOVE the president from office. The Senate does NOT vote to impeach, that would be like a trial jury voting to bring someone to trial which is the job of a prosecutor and or GRAND jury. Secondly Richard Milhous Nixon RESIGNED from office. He never was impeached even though he would have been had he not resigned. He certainly never was tried by the Senate. Morris is way out in the woods here. When Bill Clinton was impeached it was recognized that he was the first ELECTED PRESIDENT to ever be impeached, that was said on national news reports, now there is an alternate story being pushed saying that Nixon was impeached which is wrong and that Clinton was NOT imnpeached which is certainly wrong. I have seen Clinton himself on TV saying in a very sour tone, “They TRIED to impeach me.” Newsflash Bill, you WERE impeached, you were just not kicked out of office as you should have been.
This has become like the global warming hoax, a completely false story being treated as truth.
Dick Morris is about as useful to Conservatives as Karl Rove.

Zero is no different than most of Congress....”Cock-ran” for instance. He has no idea what he is doing. His staff tells him how to vote after The Party has told them how to vote. Zero is only a figurehead and he does what he is told. He has no mind of his own, it is owned by The Man Behind The Curtain.....or woman in Zero’s case. The plan has been in the works for decades and there is no way they are going to stop now. It is a perfect storm of a POS who can not be criticized, a MSM who makes sure of that, an opposition party who has been bought and paid for and who loves power as much as the party in power. BOTH parties are the same....it is a perfect storm that has been brewing for half a century!
