One of four remaining clinics that provide abortions in Kansas has closed amid a hostile political climate and financial challenges.
Its outgoing manager said Monday the decision was also prompted by a “lack of gratitude” from a young generation of women who take its abortion services for granted.

Sure, a woman’s main concern on a day-to-day basis may not be abortion rights. Her main concern may be basic healthcare for herself and her kids, or something else. But she has the luxury of abortion rights not being her main concern because it’s been an absolute guaranteed right in this country for 40 years. That means every woman in this country under the age of 40 never had to worry about getting an illegal, unsafe abortion….
That’s a long time to get lulled into a sense of security that that right is never going away — and therefore we don’t need to make its protection a priority….

MANY of the costs of running an abortion clinic are directly related to restrictions on late term abortions, 2nd opinion requirements, informed consent, parental consent, clinic safety and clinic emergency care regulations.

And no woman over that age ever had to worry about "illegal, unsafe" abortion either. The fact is, that if women are conscientious about using contraceptives or abstinence, the chance of pregnancy is almost nil. And since someone *always* dies in abortion, the idea of "safe" abortion is a complete fantasy. It isn't even safe for the survivor.

Maybe because the women who had the abortion immediately felt emotionally devastated, and had the realization they made a mistake that they cannot undo. It happens with a lot of women.

Most go without insurance... in Florida doctors post a tiny sign in their office stating that they don’t carry insurance, and keep all their assetts hidden in trusts and llc’s ..

Yea I was gonna say what malpractice insurance? Most of these goons just dump the women at local ER’s then are off on the next flight out of town.
