A transgender YouTube star has posted a video urging for people to accept everyone for who they are.
The 13-year-old Jazz, who was thrust into the media spotlight when she appeared on TV programme 20/20 aged just 6, says: “A lot of transgender people are treated unfairly. It’s upsetting to know there are still prejudiced people who don’t accept others.
She talks about the prejudice she has experienced, saying: “When some people say we don’t appreciate God’s creation, or argue that the Bible doesn’t say LGBTQ people are ethical, I get confused.
“It befuddles me how we have to undermine others and look forward to their failures.
“It’s annoying when people argue about being different. To place it into right and wrong is beyond what it is – in being different, there is no right or wrong, it’s just who you are. “Being transgender has made me who I am: a stronger person, a more confident person, and a person with pride. “Progress is being made, and the world is transitioning into a new time. I can see the change.
Jazz, who keeps her surname and where in the US she lives a secret for her safety reasons, also posted a video of her answering questions from the public.
Her high profile in the media came about after many TV appearances, including a documentary about her on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
Jazz has also founded the Transkids Purple Rainbow Foundation, and has co-written a book, I Am Jazz.

I truly feel sad for this child — Unfortunately “it’s” parents weren’t strong enough to teach this child right from wrong — What a tortured life this child will be forced to live. Sad...very sad.

I don’t like the idea of “trans kids”.
Why are we enabling children to be “trans kids”?
Regarding “trans whatever” peoples, it seems to me, that this whole area of life should be limited to consenting adults.
If one becomes an adult and still feels this sexual confusion, then explore all of that, when you are an adult, with professionals.
It seems abusive to me, to take a child who has no clue about sex behavior or sex identity, who has not yet gone through puberty, and have enabling adults in that child’s life enabling him/her that they are really a different sex than the sex they were born.
Liberal homosexual activists tell us that they were “born that way”. But these “trans” kids, we’re saying that they weren’t born the sex they clearly were born as.
Which is it, liberals? Are people born a certain way or not? Can’t have it both ways.
Tolerance is accepting people for what they are, not what you hope them to be. However tolerance does not preclude a thoughtful individual from making a value judgement. Also “tolerance” is a convenient facade for indifference. The indifference toward fellow human beings who are leading tortured and diseased lives. “They are what they are. Nothing I can or should do. Good luck and goodbye.”

I fault the parents for not getting this kid psychiatric help years ago.

In order to be a “trans” child, a child needs to have enabling parents. It’s sad that some parents just don’t do their job properly.
