The U.S. Air Force Academy’s superintendent is calling for a full investigation into cadet athletes after reports of sexual assaults, drugs and cheating, the Colorado Springs Gazette reported.
According to documents released to the newspaper through the Freedom of Information Act, parties dating to 2010 included cadets who were smoking synthetic marijuana, drinking until they became ill, and possible use of date-rape drugs to incapacitate women for sexual assaults.
The troubled group – which reportedly included two Air Force football stars who were court-martialed – created such a wild culture that leaders at the academy canceled an undercover sting planned for a 2012 party out of fears that agents would be unable to protect women from rape.

No matter the location or school, athletic departments can always be counted upon to be even more idiotic and immoral than the lib arts clown shows.
The highest paid individual at the USAF Academy is the football coach.

From all that I see and read, I can only conclude that the AF Academy is on the downhill drag. I would guess that the other academies are suffering the same fate.
That can be said of any football/basketball coach where these sports are big ticket draws for their universities. Football, as well as basketball, fund lesser profile sports at these universities, not to mention paying the coaches salary.
You’re right. Having graduated from a “football” school, these kind of issues were well known among the student bodies more than 40 years ago. The coaches, some of whom were lionized as paragons of virtue, along with the local authorities averted their eyes and ears to all of the illegal crap that went on. Assaults, robberies, rapes, drugs, etc were covered up or quickly swept under the rug. The notion was that nothing short of murder would cause an “athlete” to be prosecuted or miss a game and that for murder it might depend on the circumstances.
Air Force Academy, almost like a real academy but without the honor, military discipline, and it is full of preppies.
What was her “Sport” at the academy?
Now we see what has stepped into the vacuum created by the anti Christian efforts.

Adding women and lowering acceptance standards, among other actions, have pretty much guaranteed such outcomes.
