A desperate search is underway for two Amish girls after they were apparently abducted from their family's roadside stand in northern New York last night.
Six-year-old Delila Miller and 12-year-old Fannie Miller were bundled into a white car as they went to help a customer in Oswegatchie around 7.20pm on Wednesday, according to reports.
On Thursday, St. Lawrence County Sheriff Kevin Wells said his office has received 'numerous leads' and that state troopers, forest rangers and U.S. Border Patrol agents were part of the search. Dive teams have also been called in to scour the nearby Oswegatchie River.
'There's no indication to take us any certain direction at this point,' Sheriff Kevin Wells told WWNY. 'We're following all leads and we're making sure we overturn every stone that we're aware of and we're moving from there.'

Fannie Miller also has brown hair and brown eyes and is five feet tall and about 90 pounds. She is crosseyed.
Both of the girls have heavy accents and speak in the Pennsylvania Dutch dialect, but the 12-year-old, Fannie, speaks English, SYR reported.
Sheriff Kevin Wells added that because of the time that passed since their disappearance, the girls may be wearing different clothing or have had their hair cut.
Oswegatchie is on the Canadian border 150 miles northwest of Albany.
Anyone with any information about the abduction is asked to call 911."
Probably a gov’t agency. They are against child labor for the family and against selling locally grown food.
How awful, praying this will turn out well.

Sheesh......the world is not safe for young kids on their own...especially now with all the illegals and foreigners running the streets...and it was bad enough before.
It looks be in the Adirondacks quite a ways from the border.

Hope am wrong caww with what am going to type. Soon anyone not armed (and that soon could be next day for all I know) will be targeted. Even armed may not be beneficial if what could come comes. Is growing terrible and reminding me of shortly before WWII. The homeland will not escape the pain this time for the politicians have set U.S. up and our media acts like they and theirs are immune to what is coming. We aren’t done but we are in for one heck of a fight. Don’t know what the outcome will be but is certain our enemies have been emboldened and inside our house. That is my scary post for this day or week ... Prayers am wrong.
We didn’t have nearly as much of this stuff years ago in the USA. We can all say it was due to this or that, but in the end much of our country changed when the politicians and bankers colluded to send our jobs to China, and to import poverty from south of the border and elsewhere. We became a much less affluent nation for most.
They connived in a way to gradually change the USA culture to the 3rd world it is becoming, and no citizen had a chance to vote on it. Instead we pay the price. Hxll it would not have made any difference because neither Party really works for Joe and Jane average. They work for the puppet string pullers and special interests that bribe them with money to get reelected and divide us. Their only concern is getting reelected not the USA.

The population today has become so violent and with little restraint....we can thank the Gov. for teaching the younger generations they have “rights” but not what the difference is between that and a “Privilege”...
Am dealing ‘again’ to day with the new section 8 house we've been stuck with....no control by the adults...already today a street fight...and the mother screaming at her teens on the street.....it's a ZOO of animals and I'll be making a visit to the police station to mark that place a “danger Zone”. Sheesh! Those people have been there less then a month and the whole neighborhood is up in arms about this.
