What does it matter if they are law enforcement or not? They are there to help. Identifying them should be pretty darn easy. Guy dressed in rags carrying odd assortment of luggage, dragging wife/kids along in wake: probably illegal alien. Guy dressed in camos carrying several thousand dollars worth of weapons and other assorted gear: probably US citizen, militia, SWAT, DHS, FBI, or any number of other militarized agencies that don't talk to each other.
COMPLICATE the situation??? It seems from this comment that they HELPED the situation.
I guarantee that would stop the traffic!
What has always exacerbated the problem is that no one feels any affinity for the Border Patrol. They are either Jackasses or Easterners who don’t have a clue and they treat us citizens like we are terrorists of some kind while the illegals are pouring over.
I always just love when they ask if you are an American citizen in an accent so thick that you only know what they are asking because that’s what they always ask. We always want to ask them about their citizenship.
I always hesitate to call the BP. I have several private numbers of sheriff’s deputies and I call them.
