FULL TITLE: Fetus found in trash can in Texas high school bathroom: Police believe student gave birth during class time
A staff member has found what is being described by police as a 'deceased human fetus' in a bathroom at a Texas high school.
Authorities in east Dallas are now looking for a student they believe gave birth inside Woodrow Wilson High School during class time on Friday.
A maintenance worker made the disturbing discovery in a trash can in a second-floor girls' bathroom around 2:30pm.

The Dallas Morning News is now reporting it was a miscarriage.
The high school was actually a top performing school up until the last 30 or so years. There are some impressive graduates (Trammell Crow, Dusty Hill, Tim Brown, Mariano Martinez, Davey O’Brien, Carroll Shelby and more) from there in days gone by until the school’s surrounding neighborhood decayed. The school architecture was cool too.

I hope the state’s Attorney General acts to obtain a warrant to examine all the female students and facility in the school who are of child bearing age in order to determine who murdered this baby.
I’m not sure State sanctioned sexual assault is the way to go here.

As suggested by Geron, DNA tests of all possible suspects would work, but there would be some further examinations required.
However, we must remember that this is likely a murder investigation and police and prosecutors have a bit more investigative latitude.
The story reads like the infant was not full term. It is possible to suffer a late term miscarriage at 20 weeks or more. It happened to my daughter twice and both times the baby was born dead. But the baby at that point was about 12 inches long and fully formed, nut weighed less than a pound. A frightened teenager would not understand what was happening, nor would she know what to do without the help of an adult, and for whatever reason, this girl did not think she could safely seek help. I’m skeptical at this point that she killed the baby, but time will tell.

No Charges After Fetus Found in High School Bathroom
The investigation into a fetus found inside a girl’s bathroom at a Dallas
high school is over, police say.
In an email to NBC 5, Dallas police said they have spoken with all parties involved
and determined that a female miscarried and that no criminal offense took place.
With that, no charges are being filed.
