Seems like a very nice analysis. I do wish that I had had a better musical education. Although I believe many people who promote “the arts” in government schools are simply trying to funnel additional money to teachers unions, I really do wish that children were expected to play an instrument and understand rudiments of musical theory. Music conveys a great deal of humanity — as the posted analysis shows.

Loved the music in LOTR...loved the movies....loved the CGI....

So instead of saying that scenes of the actors walking and walking and walking or riding and riding and riding when Peter Jackson should just have cut to the next scene then I will just say the music is nice : )

Sound track. 3 hours and 40 minutes of it. #17 one hour in on the list in the first column is what most people remember. The Breaking Of The Fellowship
