While we're all congratulating each other and espousing our favorites for 2016, let's watch this video again. He is a diamond in a field of cut glass.
Gowdy is for amnesty, doubling tech workers and talks big.
He hates Steve King but likes Gutierrez. What sort of judgement does Gowdy have. Maybe he’ll pick Linda as his VP. Gowdy wont run for president. He told Ingraham he is not even sure how long he will stay in congress.
Gowdy said he once wrote a note to Gutierrez that said, “If I ever needed an advocate, a passionate advocate, I would want somebody like you.”
Steve King and Jeff Sessions never get ovations because half the congressional GOP are morons.
I’m waiting to see if Gowdy does an “Issa” on Benghazi and hides the truth to protect the “special ones”.
Gowdy no longer has credibility since he chose to become an amnesty traitor!
That bears repeating!!!
Gowdy, Labrador, Poe, Goodlatte, Denham, Gardner, Coffman push amnesty.
Steve King offered the only dissent.
This is from July 2013.

“When children wander into neighborhood yards, we don’t call that trespassing. When children cry and yell and scream at restaurants or on airplanes, we don’t call that a violation of the noise ordinance. When children eat a grape at the grocery store or eat a piece of candy waiting in line before Mom or Dad pays for it, we don’t have them arrested for petty larceny.”
When children wander into neighborhood yards, we dont call that trespassing.”
Children are tools for the evil. One day, a child will “wanter into neighborhood yards” and will detonate his suicide bomb.
We have to remember something. Guys like Goudy are for LEGAL immigration, and getting that process correct redefines illegal immigration. Closing the borders is first and key. (That is the defining litmus test). But when we hear immigration reform we have to be careful...not all of the “reform” is amnesty...only the do-gooder liberals’ and Obama’s “flavor” of it. I, for one am FOR legal immigration. I have no problems with that. But I do have a problem with ILLEGAL IMIGRATION...those people are stealing from me just as any thief would, AND THEY SHOULD BE TREATED AND PROSECUTED AS YOU PROSECUTE ANY THIEF.
All your reasons were convincing enough for his district’s voters to re-elect Gowdy this past Tuesday, overwhelmingly.
Your wolf-in-sheep’s-clothing portrayal of Trey Gowdy may please you intellectually but it’s really off the mark.
No, Gowdy may NOT be the typical politician who pleases his consitituents with continual (fake) promises of pork. But, so far, we the voters who elected him are satisfied, to say the least.
And maybe yet, Gowdy’s thinking might rub off onto Lindsey. I’ve seen stranger things.
There's absolutely NO NEED to getting the process correct.
The lawful process is our current law...and NO NEED to change it.
Just follow the law!!!!
Deport 100% of ILLEGALS.
Build wall.
Fine employers for hiring ILLEGALS.
Thank you - too many here have flushed their brains down the toilet and are more apt to jump to unfounded conclusions or even ignore truth in order to be able to trash some of our best friends on the conservative side. Early last year, some were taking some rag's story about Palin being for amnesty and trashing her. There are many fools and idiots in our midst.
I think you made your ignorant and misguided attack on Trey Gowdy in a thread you posted the other day. Time to get off the stupid train.
Trey Gowdy is not pushing for mass amnesty. Some parts of our immigration laws do need to be reformed.
Trey Gowdy is one of the good guys fighting to rid our govt of the overwhelming corruption that Obama has created. He is on a crusade to clean up the mess.
You have no clue. Anybody who listens to you and I doubt many will have no clue.
Trey Gowdy is a good guy. Close borders first, legal amnesty only.
I’m anti amnesty and still manage to like and appreciate Gowdy and to the simple lucidity he describes and applies the law. But never said he should run for President.
My fantasy team would be Scott Walker Pres, Ted Cruz Senate Majority Leader and Trey Gowdy as House Majority leader.
As for amnesty, There’s two types: The Progressive amnesty that the left wants to bring in fresh constituents and the Conservative amnesty that addresses a comprehensive border security first, then what to do with the illegals that have entrenched themselves.
At no point do I believe the GOP will start deporting illegals in part or parcel. They will however limit it and restrict the wholesale fraud the Democrats intend to commit with this new Constituency by providing tight and narrow paths for citizenship for most.
The GOP will adopt the Amnesty cause of some type no matter what along with establishing better border security. If this is to be so, I want Trey Gowdy driving it.
Otherwise, the ultra-FR conservative desire would lead us with dozens of commercials of poor destitute people being sent back to their deaths to thier countries of origin for the 2016 elections.
Wonderful response. BTW: Come January 5th I’ll be living in Trey Gowdy’s district and happy to be there.
I’m getting there.
Yes Trey Gowdy is one of the few good guys in Congress. I am hoping he will be the new Attorney General in 2017.
No. TREY GOWDY AS ATTORNEY GENERAL!! He would force our country back to the Rule of Law, and would clean house. He is a former prosecutor and would kick all these criminal behinds (in the government) from here to next Sunday, just on RICO charges alone.
