With Obamacare so unpopular-
Such a tarnish on his crown
You’d think he would retreat
But instead, he doubles down

Sending “navigators” to malls
Proves he is just obsessive-
Will they be selling pabulum
Or will they get aggressive?

Running harried shoppers down
Will be testing the endurance-
And could get a smackdown for
A fool selling “health insurance”

When I saw that bit on Fox News this morning, I couldn’t believe anyone would be dumb enough to try to sell someone the crap that is part of the reason most of us have no money for extras and gifts, no matter how much koolaid they drink. If I were approached, I’d grab all the fliers and throw them up in the air while telling the idiot where to shove them...

There are a lot of wild turkeys out here-I see and hear them at a distance when I hike in the woods all the time-there is also no hunting allowed, even in season in this subdivision because there is livestock and horses all over the place.

On the way home yesterday about a mile from the driveway, 4 hens and a big gobbler-walked out of the creek bottom and across the road into the woods. I was only doing 20-the speed limit on this road-so I just stopped to let them walk right in right in front of me. They looked delicious, and probably know they are safe here from people like me who would prefer their delicious natural taste to those mass produced turkeys...

I’m having dinner a little later with a neighbor who is also single-I baked 7 grain bread, and I’m making salad to take to her house-we each paid half for a fresh slaughtered and dressed free range turkey from a farm on the next road-she agrees with me on the natural food, so it will be a healthy dinner...

A++ for you! And I love the idea of grabbing the flyers and scattering them up into the air! I saw a gorgeous 8 pt buck on my run Tuesday and Wednesday I saw a big-eyed doe standing 2 ft from the trail. Yesterday, just squirrels.
We went to the nephew's yesterday and it was the first time I hadn't cooked Thanksgiving dinner in 30 years. They fried a turkey and everything was delicious. I brought a tin of punkin cookies and the little nieces loved them. It was nice being around a bigger group of family, which was unusual for us and good for our kiddos to experience. But I LOVE turkey and now I have no leftovers so I will be cooking one tomorrow.
