I don’t know if I could have done the same thing.
Every day when I look at the child, I’d be reminded of when my wife was raped.
That’s hard to do.
Ugh....what a terrible situation to be in! I couldn’t imagine.
I need a husband like that.
So it’s all about you? What about the poor little baby who deserved a real dad but had an absent violent thug instead. No need for DNA if the baby was mixed race.
I would hope you’d have an easier time with the decision to keep a child from a rape should the situation ever arise in your life.
I applaud your ability to make such a quick decision, but I doubt it would be that easy if it happened to you.

I don’t know what I would do except pray that God gave me clarity to make the best decision.
