I traded in an old vehicle to the dealer when buying a new one. Imagine my surprise when someone called inquiring about it from an auction 5 states away. They told me it’s common practice to get cars out of state so it’s not so easy to track down previous owners and get the truth about problems.
I bought a 1996 Ford Explorer from a NH Ford dealer two years old with 29K miles. It was a 2 year lease turn in. I found mail from the previous owner in VT under the back seat. I called them up and asked if they wanted me to send it to them.
Visions of Jeff Foxworthy’s joke about watching natural disaster news stories and a reporter interviews some random idiot and it’s your toothless relative. This poor plumber sees his company logo flash across the screen from the middle of a terrorist war.
Same here. We bought a nearly new lease vehicle for kiddo and found contracts in the glove box. I called the dealer but they didn’t want them back. If only I was an identity thief, I’d have six tvs in every room and diamonds on my toes. But, no, I’m a chump and shredded them.
It’s his own fault for not painting over his logo upon selling it. It could just as easily been a bank robber who bought his vehicle.
The U.S. government is not only shipping off and looting their national treasure, hundred's of thousands of Muslims, illegal aliens and millions of assorted foreigners are shipping off everything imaginable...Including aircraft, exotic vehicles, cash, precious metals, art....etc.
You name...The U.S. is being gang raped...
Yes, that’s the moral of this story.
The owner was amazed it still had his original gun mounted in the truck bed. He use to use it to hunt Texas geese.....
