What started as the armed robbery of a Western Union store led to a police chase and a gunfight between suspects and Miramar police officers in Liberty City on Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

Officers shot and killed one suspect while another was detained for questioning....

... at least one suspect is believed to have fired at the officers.

I especially liked the part where the article states the officers involved in the shooting were relieved of their duties, with pay. Really? Officers get placed on administrative leave, they are not relieved of their duties, which implies some sort of misconduct or inability to perform their duties. Just another liberal dig at our police.
