I know ADULTS who have had life threatening side effects from the stix in the arms birth control from asthma to reproductive organs falling out, to cartilage in joints causing pelvis’s and ribs to disconnect.

And then there are the other common side effects such as permanent infertility when used on teens early in their menstrual cycles and steadily for five years or more as well as blood clots et al.

When you have pre-teens hellbent for sex, there is a serious problem somewhere. And when you have parents who are willing to subject their children to dangerous drugs for no good reason, you have a double serious problem.

Recently I watched a documentary about women in Great Britain and the horrid measures they have to contend with when raped. England does NOT sound like a place where children should be raised.

The point I was trying to make is that sometimes parents fail. You may tell your child 1,000 times to do or not do something and still they mess up.

Did none of you know the children of preachers when you grew up? is there any doubt the parents didn't teach them right from wrong? And yet... how many knew those children and knew they made bad decisions much like the rest of us did? Now imagine that you have a child who is out of control and though your doing your best the child is just running wild basically.

Would it not be wise to put them on protection? so at least they will not get pregnant ?

I mean I teach my child to be neat, but I dont keep soap from them because I expect they will never get dirty because I taught them to be neat.

How many parents here have decided they have had enough children or dont want any yet and are on birth control of some type? If so then you are a hypocrite because you are denying your children the same protections you demand.

But then you say.. but they shouldn't be having sex! (your right they shouldn't) but in the real world children dont always listen to their parents! (come on people you know this is true!)

So it's our job as parents to plan ahead and limit the damage when our children inevitably fail to listen to what we have taught them!

This has to be some wacked out immigrants who are getting these for their ten year olds. In Central America having sex with 13 year old means nothing. You can be a 33 year old guy and it is seen as acceptable

Not very common, and if needed for medical reasons, not the same widely used adult hormonal birth control supplements and/or dosages.It's not a "one size fits all" situation.

There is a very good reason many pharmaceutical products are not approved for use on children or adolescents.

It's not merely the type and dosage level, it's more the wildly unequal impact of hormones on still developing human bodies, and at various stages of quickly changing normal development.

Now we know that smoking combined with taking estrogen supplements can cause cancer later in life. Just as now we know acetaminophen use will destroy your liver functions.
For twenty years it was touted as a “safer” option to aspirin...

Isn't it statutory rape, when an adult is accessing a young girl's privates?
Professional health worker or not.
The girls are too young to give legal consent.
Parental consent is required for all other medical procedures on a child. How can this be legal?
