NEW YORK, - The Anti-Defamation League has called on Urban Outfitters to pull a tapestry that was seen on sale at one of the retailer's stories in Boulder, Colo.
The league said Monday in a press release that the tapestry -- with its gray-and-white stripes and pink triangles -- is "eerily reminiscent" of the uniform that gay men were forced to wear in concentration camps.
"Whether intentional or not, this gray and white stripped pattern and pink triangle combination is deeply offensive and should not be mainstreamed into popular culture," said Abraham H. Foxman, the Anti-Defamation League's national director.
Urban Outfitters has yet to comment on the tapestry, but this isn't the first time that the chain has had to reconsider its designs.
Last year, the store pulled a Kent State University sweatshirt emblazoned with red splotches that looked like blood stains. Four students were shot at Kent State in 1970.
At the time, Urban Outfitters apologized for the sweatshirt and attributed the "blood stains" to "discoloration from the original shade

You might think it’s an accident, except it’s the third time they’ve pulled the same stuff.
That is a really stupid hypocritical complaint because homosexuals themselves claim the pink triangle as their symbol.
