It is 62 and windy-and my microwave self destructed, so I got another one from Home Depot-did not really want to spend money on that stuff, with work scarce until Spring...

Do you ever wonder if Obama
Was born dismissive and rude?
I doubt that he was ever even
Close to an effulgent attitude

His nose must be frostbitten-
He’s impressed with his fame
He even obsesses playing golf
About looking good at the game

There is something very wrong
With the upbringing that he had
Being around commie family pals
Could only turn out to be bad...

A+ for you! Just had discussion with our trash company that did not pick up this week due to the ice and snow. I asked if the lack of service would be reflected in the bill and she said no, I could just put out all the extra next week for them. I don’t consider that adequate compensation and told them so and reminded them that they broke my container handles months ago and I want it replaced so that should happen next week. I understand them not able to get out but they raised their prices when gas prices were higher for that and didn’t reduce them when prices came down. Who do these people think they are fooling? We’re not all democrats.

Some tire shops will be able to “shave” a new tire down to match the tread depth of the old tires. Might be cheaper that way, depending on how much wear you have on the tires.

Thanks… Sorry to hear you’re getting trash talk from the waste disposal company, it sounds like cronyism b/w the private firm & a local municipality. Here, our village contracts with someone for both regular garbage AND recyclables; they’re really anal about the Recycling bin, particularly how high you can pile stuff (they’ve outright refused to pick up the full container a few times). When ours blew away one windy day, we had a heck of a time finally getting the “proper” replacement, having to purcha$e it.

Anyway, it’s supposed to be near a record -10F overnight & garbage day Friday, so they may have to defrost the contents tomorrow morning first ;-)

Well done. A+ for you and F- for the imposter with his nose in the air. Microwaves are essential so you had to do it.

We don’t have city trash removal and use private companies. I don’t know what you mean about an emergency declaration. I just know I am ticked.

I’m glad to hear that you got the vehicle home safely-flat tires have caused me to lose my temper and throw a shrieking tantrum by the side of the road-they are an invention of the devil...

Thank you!

Is the trash company usually negligent? We have a private trash service out here-or you can take your trash to the nearby dump or burn it-but not when there is a burn-ban. I like the private service-it is $30.00 a month, paid by the quarter, and they will even take boxes and stuff as long as you smash them down and put them by the can.

Is anyone else going to watch the 3d season premiere of Vikings at 9 tonight? the previews said something about going to Paris-I’m guessing it isn’t for the restaurants...

In bad weather, they are sometimes a day late. I’ve never had them delay for an entire week.
