If we “rise and shine,” doesn’t that make us effulgent?
We’re alive, alert, awake, enthusiastic!
I love it when the ladies of the thread talk trash.
I meant that if there was a state of emergency declared they probably have a legal reason they delayed your service.
I don’t think you have any reason to expect a refund. They will still have to pick up and haul all the trash. They don’t get anything for free. If each house has twice the trash, then they will only go half as far before having to go dump.
What negligent? It’s an act of God.
I heard that TN declared a state of emergency on Monday so that’s probably why.
I’m not sure what would happen here with trash in a really bad ice storm, but there are plenty of horses out here-maybe something could be arranged...
They did not have to pay any of the drivers this week. But they were paid by customers for weekly pickup.
They will have to pay OT when the drivers make extra trips and work longer hours to catch up with the piled up trash.
No one is benefiting from this. You aren’t being cheated. You pay to have your trash removed. They will remove your trash. Due to emergency this has been delayed.
