For those of us east of the Rockies wishing for temps to go above the teens, this should make you laugh.

Oh, please. Cold?

I'm in Sherman Oaks. Nights have been in the 50s at the very least.

Never waste a good crisis, if it’s not one......well, make it up.

“it’s getting into the 50s, ARTIC COLD” what a crock a sh!t.

Oh yeah, and who hired the hippy meteorologist?

I grew up in the midwest, but spent several years on SoCal. It was amazing to see women in Fur coats during the “winter” months when temps got way down to the 60’s. On more than one Christmas Day, we’d go to the beach and lay in the Sun. Not a soul around. It was a frigid 70 degrees you know.

Sure was hard to get acclimated to the cold when we moved back to the midwest. I did eventually recover and again think of 20 degrees as sweatshirt weather.

It’s been in the 70s and 80s in SoCal all of February. Those of you freezing elsewhere, please hurry up and move here. The increased housing demand will drive up my home price, and since I’m now retired the increasingly crowded freeways won’t affect me at all. (I’m an insensitive supply-and-demand market capitalist.)

Looks staged. See where he rehearsed running out in the snow in #1? It’s like those old western movies...where you could see the horse tracks where they had previously rehearsed the scene.

Some parts of Virginia will see 50F in the next couple of days. Maybe, just maybe, the sheet of ice on the road down my hill will turn to slush and I can get to town.

It has cooled down the last day or so.

It will probably be in the low 70’s today.

No snow, please. I like it without extremes. I don’t have a coat or an umbrella and I like it that way.

I just drive to underground parking to home to underground parking, etc.

This is a good time for the west to play the Shutup Game.

We did have some cold weather in January. I saw some snow flakes in the air and landed on a bench in my yard. I tried to take a picture but by the time I got my phone out of my pocket it had melted. About a mile up the hill I had some friends got enough snow to make snow balls. It did do some damage to my banana trees. I know they are really plans.
