The headlines were surprising. Creflo Dollar (yes, that’s his real name), a pastor at World Changers Church International headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, actually had the nerve to ask his congregation and watchers, nationwide, of his program on the Internet, to replace his broken-down private jet with a state of the art model. And the plane Dollar requested, the Gulfstream G650, is not just your run-of-the-mill private jet. It’s, according to a quote on the Gulfstream website, “The biggest, fastest, most luxurious, longest range and most technologically advanced jet — by far — that Gulfstream has ever built.” Indeed, its writeup is impressive — click here and see for yourself.

I love the proliferation of all theses “reality” preacher family shows.
Absolutely pathetic.
It is my humble opinion that “taking the Lords name in vain” does not mean saying GD.
I much more thing it refers to things like this, people doing things in Gods name, that have nothing to do with God. If you look in the Bible, it was a very heavy thing to say “Thus Sayeth the Lord”. There is something very, very dangerous about invoking the ultimate authority for your own selfish purposes.
Mr. Dollar, I would strongly urge you to be sure of what you attribute to the almighty.

It has spread overseas. My wife is from Guatemala and they have a megachurch in Guaatemala City run by a fraud who calls himself Cash Luna. He is a Guatemalan version of Creflo Dollar.
Already live a minimal lifestyle. Barely getting by.
Perhaps he should consider taking up his ‘cross’ and keep flying that raggedy ole G3.
Guys like this do indescribable damage to the efforts of others who are sincerely trying to spread the Gospel to the four corners of the globe.

Sounds like something you’d find behind the penny candy counter when I was a kid.
They all preach God wants you rich and the best way to get there is sow a seed(money)by giving it to them. God does not need money, plains , trains, automobiles, a concrete earth or frankly anything man does..
What God wants is us to realize we do not have a “life” here as we all die, live for the coming kingdom..reach out, minister with love in Christ name
Doesn’t she say before each sermon where she introduces “Dollar” that if any tongue comes against Creffi, that they will be “struck down”?
I loathe these televangelists......
It means both and we should expect wolves among the lambs.
Some specific comments on the likes of Dollar:
For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.
