You got that right.
The answer is NO!
Way to grab a magnifying glass and focus on the freak. You must be a mainstream media figure.
They pick on their sisters and find 9 and 11 year old girls who act like 9 and 11 year old girls annoying, including watching My Little Pony. I was just lamenting my failure in the literary/media analysis teaching.
I have had to stop my kids from watching several shows in the past, Dragon Tales, Larva, etc. I’m glad to know the messages in My Little Pony are safe.

Welcome to your lives as slaves, kids
I won’t post it, but I could freepmail. If he could kindly tell me things he enjoys, I could cough up some ten thousand images in a few minutes that would destroy any sensibilities.
Its called the internet.
lol
Shelby Hoof, narrator
The equal sign was a symbol of gay marriage wasn’t it? lol
Thats what I was afraid of when the teaser was released.
If that were to be the case, I’d drop the show and move on.
but in that episode it was a bad thing that everyone had it
If you are worried, I would suggest watching this First Episode of this season and judge for yourselves :)
Well, I need brain bleach for that image. I am just going to think of Raquel Welch in a slinky dress draped across the hood of a Ferrari 308GTS.
“Do you enjoy animated Disney flicks?”
No.
Jon Meis, the hero at Seattle Pacific University, had on his facebook page a like to “My Little Pony”! (Along with assorted weapons sites, etc. Ever since I saw that I have been careful not to judge people based on “My Little Pony”. (They might just kick the crap out of me!)
He was recently awarded the “Citizen Service Before Self Award” by the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation:
Excerpt:
The 2015 Citizen Honors recipients, selected for their acts of courage and selfless service, are:
Jon Meis of Renton, Washington, was selected for his heroism on June 5, 2014, when he disarmed and subdued a shooter on the campus of Seattle Pacific University.
Meis is selected for his singular act of heroism during a violent and deadly shooting spree at Seattle Pacific University on June 5, 2014. While serving as a student-building monitor and teaching assistant, John Meis risked his life when he pepper sprayed the shooter as the shooter stopped to reload his shotgun. Meis tackled the assailant and with the help of others subdued him until police arrived.
Although one student was killed and three others were injured, the casualties could have been much worse if Meis had not acted to protect others. In recognition of his selfless act, Seattle Pacific University has established a scholarship in Meis name.
Wow, I’ve got to find out more about this. It’s practically subversive! (In a good way!) I am surprised this is the first I’ve heard of this.
I believe children’s media shape societies. There is a Swiss national character who for decades has helped shape the Swiss. IIRC his name is Globi, and he gets into scrapes out in the world where the only way to get out is to make something handy to save the day. To physically make an ingenious device! Hello, what are the Swiss known for? For making ingenious devices that make something in life easier. This is a national trait that comes from their childhood “hero” character.
I’ve been looking for some smart characters in American children’s cartoons for a while. I’ve only found clever / stupid funny characters or characters that only annoy other characters, or really sappy, preachy characters. The truly original characters are usually from Japanese cartoons.
Thanks for this.
My time is closer to Sigourney Weaver and Denise Richards.
It actually is more of a throw back to earlier cartoons.
Down to the Traditional 2D animation.
Even Music Man References!
Teen boys seem to go through a holier then thou phase. It does not last long but they are a major pain in the neck for their siblings.
